★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The coffee is phenomenal! All the staff are nice, knowledgeable, and so so good at making coffee. This is a favorite neighborhood spot for good reason. And the owners support lots of community events ❤️
September 04 · Rae HilliardPinehurst is the first Buunni, a little place that spills out the door with chairs, tables and a little library. Neighbors originally found the space - the shoemaker retired - and presented it to the owners as a done deal - they now had to open a coffee shop since their neighbors said so. All they had done was to roast beans themselves to give as a gift for their neighbors. So now I get off the Henry Hudson for a little side trip to my favorite place. And to prove it here are pictures of my trip to North Carolina.
August 22 · Andrew CaplanThe best coffee in the neighborhood by far, if not a large part of NYC. Extremely kind and patient baristas that get your order out quickly. They also stock a very good spread of baked goods as well. Buunni doesn't miss!
September 08 · Kilgore TroutBest coffee around. The beans they use make such a smooth and flavorful espresso/ cup of coffee. The service is always quick and friendly. I buy their espresso beans for my daily lattes at home too! Overall a really nice spot with good selection of drinks and snacks!
August 19 · Paige MerrowPerhaps more than any other establishment in Washington Heights, Buunni has lived up to its motto of “coffee and community.” The mostly Ethiopian coffee brings people in but the friendly interaction among customers keeps them around. Buunni WH and Inwood have made life a lot more interesting in their respective neighborhoods.
