Great tacos at an affordable price, with friendly service. Open late!We enjoyed 3 tacos each for $18 (total), took our time eating/talking, and left feeling full and happy at midnight on a *Tuesday*. 🌮 It's a great deal for a lowkey meal.Perfect spot for food after drinks, dancing, or just about anything.They also have a full menu with entrees, desserts, and Mexican aguas frescas and drinks. This is a no-frills hole-in-the-wall venue, so you know it's good!

Los Portales is a hidden gem! I ordered takeout and was blown away by the quality of the food. I had a pulled pork/carnita taco, which was okay, but the steak taco was excellent. The highlight of my meal was definitely the al pastor torta—it was amazing! The sauces were also fantastic and really added to the flavor of everything.On top of the great food, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It can be a bit tricky to find parking at night, but it’s well worth it. Hands down, the best Mexican food I've ever had!

I saw a comment about the restaurant being cleaner or fixed up— they recently remodeled and it looks great.This place is a favorite and will continue to be one. 10/10 you should try it
