The pasta was my entree and It was exceptional!Definitely try out 420 for some good food, drinks and atmosphere. Highly suggest going on Sundays for brunch!

June 17 · Danielito78 RomanOK let me set the scene, it's 7pm Friday and 95 degrees!LOL J/K Seriously it's Valentines night and we're in the BRONX, YES NYC A TOLL.The ambiance in this place is great! We had reservations at 9:30pm, upon arrival we were asked which seating we preferred, dining room or booth or something like that I forget, we chose one and received a seat that looked like it was placed at the end of a booth. Like we were being squeezed in, super awkward seating as waiters continued to bump into us.We ordered drinks and then food immediately after. Let's say this is 9:45pm. Our appetizers came out at almost 11pm, 10:54pm to be exact. Our entree came out 30 minutes after that at 11:25pmThe food was amazing however the wait was 1 hour and a half. Even on a crowded day that's not ok however the manager was able to comp us half of the bill. She was super apologetic and told us to come back so she could treat us right! I will indeed be back on a less crowded day because the food was absolutely delicious. What we ordered : Braised Beef Ribs- super tender, as if they were cooking the whole wait time! 10/10Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli was great as well 10/10Napoleon Surf & Turf polenta was good 8/10
March 21 · Miasia SimoneWe went for brunch which includes 90 mins of unlimited mimosa & sangria pitchers. The burger was delicious. My friends didn’t like the steak only because it didn’t have any seasoning, like not even salt and pepper on it but it was cooked to the right temperature. Everything else was perfect! We had the fried fish tacos, guacamole, fried calamari, hot wings, bacon cheeseburger w/ fries, steak w/ eggs and the chicken & waffles. The restaurant was beautiful, I loved the wall paper. The ambiance was dope, great music playing & the staff were all very polite! Definitely will be returning when I go back to NYC. The brunch is a set menu & there were 4 of us, we each ended up paying $66 with tax & gratuity included.
April 01 · Diamond PentonReview for 420 Bar and Lounge – 2 StarsLet me start with the positive: the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The ambiance, decor, and feng shui of the space were all spot-on. It’s a visually impressive spot with a cool vibe—the kind of place you walk into and expect a great experience.Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We started with drinks, trying two different cocktails made with two different liquors just to give them a fair shot. Both were extremely sweet, syrupy, and lacked any real alcohol punch. Even for happy hour specials at $9, they were a disappointment—and even worse when you consider they’re listed for nearly $20 at regular price.Next up: the appetizers.• The calamari was great—crispy and fried to perfection. I just wish the dipping sauce had more flavor.• The guacamole was fresh and tasty, but the portion was disappointing. Lots of chips, barely any guac.• The chicken wings were a letdown—undercooked and smothered in sauce. While the sauce was decent, the wings themselves weren’t cooked to a safe or enjoyable temperature. Then came the entrees, and this is where things really went off the rails.I ordered the surf and turf, which included a filet mignon, half a lobster, a small serving of vegetables, and mashed potatoes. For nearly $70, I expected quality.• The lobster had no seasoning, was overcooked (or possibly reheated), and topped with odd breadcrumbs that didn’t work at all.• The filet mignon was ordered medium rare but came out practically blue and cold in the center.• The vegetable “blend” consisted of 3 pieces of cauliflower, 3 carrots, 2 asparagus, and 2 zucchini slices—a joke, really.• The mashed potatoes tasted boxed and bland, with no salt or pepper in sight—and none on the table either. The staff was friendly—our hostess and waiter were kind and attentive—but unfortunately, great service couldn’t make up for bad food and drinks. For a tab that ended up being over $200, this experience was incredibly disappointing. The kitchen desperately needs to step up its game, and whoever’s behind the bar needs to rethink those drink recipes. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver premium quality—and 420 Bar and Lounge is far from that right now. Here’s hoping things improve, because right now, the vibes are better than the bites.
July 06 · Nefatima DarnsJean was awesome! He was attentive and pleasant. Stephanie though is the superstar of the show. She’s amazing at making you feel welcome, celebrated and keeps the vibes. She made our anniversary dinner special and we will come back! This is a gem of an establishment. Ask for Stephanie when you come
