★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What an amazing find! We were exploring the area and looking for a good wine bar—and stumbled upon this nice little French bistro. The wine selection was impressive, and we arrived just in time for happy hour. We tried both the Cold Aromatic Whites and Mineral Whites wine flights, which were absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional—attentive. I had the Salat Amélie, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The burger was also fantastic—juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. This is easily one of the best bistros I’ve been to in NYC. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

July 14 · Aryella AlmeidaWe had a great experience at Amelia Upper West Side Bistro and Wine Bar on a Thursday evening. This was my second visit, and it met my expectations. Three of us had made a reservation and arrived just in time for happy hour. We each ordered a wine flight, which offered a diverse selection of wines to sample. The aioli fries were a great accompaniment to our drinks. For our main course, we enjoyed the expertly prepared Ravioles, Coq au Vin, Octopus, and Escargot. We also ordered additional wine, including the Pinot Pike Road and Graves, which showcased a great variety of flavors and textures. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We finished our meal with the delicious Creme Brulee. Overall, I highly recommend Amelia Upper West Side Bistro and Wine Bar for a fantastic happy hour experience and beyond.
March 14 · Meera MohanThis whole meal was outstanding! I ended up finding the owner and being invited to try this place out, and owner Oli did not disappoint. The onion soup was insanely flavor, the steak tartare was probably the best I’ve ever had, mussels were really tasty, and the escargot was unbelievable with that little piece of bread on top. The star for me though was the duck. I love duck and this one was one of the best. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce on top was a perfect compliment. The entire meal was an awesome, rich, delectable journey for the palate! A must try in the upper west side.
December 09 · Robert MarmorsteinCame here for the Happy hour and it was great except for service. All the food options were so good!. I ordered the special croquettes and they were 10/1000, got a glass of champagne and a glass of white wine, then got the Tuna tartar and end up this perfect evening with dessert, which was amazing too. Service was nice but my server didn’t follow up with me, I only saw him when he took the order and then he disappeared. And then they expect us to tip 20%. I had to ask the bussers/runners for help all the time. Besides that I loved this place and definitely coming back☺️. I will give this place 5 stars and see how the service is on my next visit!
