Had a great meal at Carnegie Diner & Café! The location is perfect right across from Carnegie Hall and a short walk from Central Park. We ordered the lobster roll and pancakes both were amazing. Portions are huge, so definitely come hungry! Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere had that classic New York diner energy. Great spot if you’re visiting the city or catching a show nearby. Highly recommend!

We decided to try a new diner spot which i asked my Google maps find me the closest diner in our location gave us many options ,so away we went .Very nice decor at this place,extremely clean,excellent lighting,I believe this is been here for 3 years only,I believe our server was a very young,beautiful, polite lady by the name (PRISA). 😀 gave us excellent service and perfect knowledge and advise on the dishes. Food was very fresh and well plated, everything we ordered was very good,highly recommend the pastrami sandwich and chicken and waffles 🧇 😋, the red velvet cake was good but the portion seemed small compared to allwood diner and others we've been too. My grand daughter is very picky and didn't approve of the mozzarella sticks, but loved her chicken fingers and French fries,overall is it a must get it ,no,but the food and place is definitely a nice place to try if your going to enjoy the cinema and then for some after late nite enjoyment dinning, oh yeah they do have lunch specials and discounts for all employees that work around this place,excellent for a lunch spot, place is a little pricey, what isn't nowadays 😀 lol.

A true classic NJ diner! I love their giant menu with a vast variety of food genres, one better than the next. Service is always attentive and prompt. I am always so impressed with how large the portions are, especially the sandwiches! You certainly never leave this place hungry! Would definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Visited this place for the second time, it felt nice to be back. Overall, the experience was pleasant. The service stood out; our server was respectful and attentive, making sure we were enjoying ourselves.However, the dessert was a letdown. We ordered the tres leches, but what arrived looked more like a dry cake pastry. It didn’t resemble tres leches at all, and when we tried to cut into it, it was so hard we had to send it back. That really threw off the mood.All in all, I’d call it an okay experience. Not terrible, but the dessert definitely put a damper on an otherwise decent evening. I might still return, but I’ll skip dessert next time.

We ate here on a Sunday night, not so busy. We had the Chicken Sandwich, it was okay just a bit pricey, the Chicken Alfedo is creamy & pretty good, and the Yeero, I love it since I like plant base meat. I enjoyed the whole sandwich, delicious. Theo, the staff that was helping us was attentive & friendly.
