★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1From the moment we stepped into Cuerno NYC, the experience was flawless. The warm welcome immediately made us feel at home, and the atmosphere was as inviting as it was beautiful. The food was simply phenomenal—starting with the salsas and homemade tortilla chips that tasted authentically like Mexico. For starters, we tried the Taco Richie, Taco Taquero, and octopus—all superb in flavor and presentation. Our entrées, the rib eye and the grilled octopus with esquites and mashed potatoes, were equally spectacular, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. To finish, we indulged in the Campechana cake, which was nothing short of unparalleled.Hospitality at Cuerno is truly outstanding. Our waiter Daniel went above and beyond, attentive to every detail. Jonathan, the General Manager, and Marlon, the Assistant General Manager, both stopped by to ensure we were having a wonderful experience. Their genuine care and thoughtfulness elevated the evening even more. As a special touch, they sent us home with salsas and, to my delight, Marlon gifted us a box of Pulparindos after I shared how they reminded me of my childhood—a gesture that meant so much.Cuerno NYC is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience that transports you straight to Mexico. Flawless service, superb flavors, and spectacular hospitality make it truly unparalleled.
August 31 · Maria De Lourdes BookerThis Mexican steakhouse located in the Time-Life building in Rockefeller Center has only been open for a few months. I've been able to go twice and have been impressed. When you enter the restaurant you are immediately greeted with a broad smile. Once you are seated at your table the good vibes continue with personable and knowledgeable servers. You will then be given complimentary tortilla chips with five excellent salsas. This is a great start to the experience especially if you enjoy it with one of their tasty margaritas. I highly recommend their ribeye but also don't overlook their fish options. My favorite dessert is the mango asado, it is outstanding. The restaurant has an attractive bar area, nice outdoor seating and is bi-level.
August 12 · Anthony SpicolaHad a wonderful time here! Atmosphere is airy and fresh, yet cozy at the same time. Service is impeccable; our waiter was attentive and his knowledge and suggestions really enhanced our experience. The food was phenomenal and unique as well. The arrachera norteña may be the best steak I’ve had, and the chocolate cake was to die for. Highly recommend!
July 26 · Ashley GalindoWe really wanted to like this place; but were really disappointed. The space itself is really nice, and the staff was great; but the food was a huge letdown. We ordered the Chicharrón de Pulpo, Taco Taquero, and Tacos Callejeros. We actually came here specifically to try the taco taquero, and that was the thing we liked the least. There was barely any bone marrow in it - we actually couldn't taste it at all, and if there was a blind taste test against some of the cheaper taco places like los tacos, we probably wouldn't choose this one. The meat itself was not seasoned enough. It was a strange experience - texturally, it was meaty, but we couldn't really TASTE the meat. For $38 for 3 tacos, this was a huge letdown. We liked the tacos callerjeros a little better; but it's drenched in sauce, so if you don't eat it all right away, the tortillas get super soggy. Our favorite item was actually the octopus. It had good texture and flavor. We had really hoped that getting some beef tacos at a steakhouse would be an elevated taco experience; but unfortunately, it was not.
July 20 · Deb LCuerno New York is, without a doubt, the ultimate expression of true Mexican fine dining in the city. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance, attention to detail, and warm hospitality set a completely new standard for service in New York. The staff is not only professional but genuinely welcoming, something you rarely see at this level. The menu is a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine, with every dish full of flavor, beautifully plated, and generously portioned. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but everything we tried was outstanding. The cocktail program is equally impressive, especially their incredible variety of tequilas and mezcals. It’s one of the most extensive and well presented selections you’ll find in the city. For the quality of food, drinks, and service, the value is exceptional. Cuerno is a must visit for anyone wanting to experience the elegance and depth of Mexican gastronomy in the heart of New York.
