★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1i was skeptical because i am a texan and always assume these places wont know whats up. but i LOVE this place. it feels extremely authentic to an actual texas bar but leans into it even further. which honestly i love. the drinks are sooo good. pro tip- go for happy hour cheap drinks and get a good spot on the couch to hang and then you’ll have a front row seat for the live music!
September 05 · Zoë HockerCame for drinks with friends for a birthday party. We arrived at 8pm and it wasn’t crowded but by the time 10pm hit, this place was full. They also had a live band and some great DJs while I was here! The drinks were great! Bartenders were nice and efficient. The decor here is so cute. I came during Christmas time so it was very festive. There’s a mechanical bull you can ride! Riding earlier is always better because a line start to form.Great place! Next time I will come and try the food. My sister and I had the Jolene cocktail and it was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy.
December 24 · Monét ThibouCame here with a large group of friends to celebrate my birthday - and it was a blast! Bull riding, line dancing, and great vibe. The atmosphere is also very inclusive and relaxed. Highly recommend!
May 05 · Yotam ArensI’ve been here two times on Sundays for line dancing lessons and usually have a great time. The venue is cute and the people (for the most part) are pretty welcoming. However, after my most recent visit, I will never go back. Two of my friends and I got there around 7pm and upon arrival the bouncer/guy checking ids/tickets was incredibly rude. Two guys in front of us were confused about the situation at the door and breezed right past him, and his response was immediately combative. Whatever, not my business. But the interaction continued to escalate when the men told him to “relax” — (he then asked them repeatedly “Or what? What are you going to do if I don’t?”) Because I wasn’t interested in a fight ruining my night out, I tried to diffuse the situation by telling them all it’s not that deep. The guys leave. Cool. Then, it was my turn to show my ID/ticket and receive a wristband, I had my hand out so he could put it on (as most places do) and he responded quite nastily with “What? You need me to do it for you?”. So unnecessarily rude, when all he had to say was here you go. I would have happily done it myself. He then threw the wristband at my friend (another Black woman—which is important to note because our other friend who is a white man was not treated this way) behind me. We were so off put by the entire interaction, though, unfortunately that wasn’t even the worst part. I decided to say something to another staff member, the only one I could find at the time (a bartender with hipster glasses and longer hair that others have mentioned in their reviews), which in hindsight was a mistake because he was not just dismissive, but downright arrogant and disrespectful. It became clear that not only did our concerns not matter but we were also not welcome. (The bartender said verbatim he did not care about how we were treated, while looking at me with such disgust). He must have said something to his bouncer buddy because he came back in with a very dismissive apology, which I rightfully declined. We tried to stick it out because we bought tickets and had been looking forward to the outing but ended up leaving not even 45min later. So incredibly disappointing to be treated like that, but honestly not sure I’m even surprised at this point. If you’re thinking about trying this place out, don’t, unless you want to be treated like garbage.
September 15 · Shelby HydeIf you love country music this is your place to go! The place itself isn’t huge but I’ve never felt like a sardine in the crowd either. The mechanical bull is of course a bonus and it’s free! Nice addition to all the other bars around the neighborhood.
