My first experience with it was a year ago in Alexandria, VA, and I thought it was just "ok" – nothing special. However, during my recent trip back to the area, I decided to give it another shot, and this visit was exceptional!Upon entering, I was promptly greeted and looked after by my server, who was both helpful and friendly. He introduced me to their seasonal special, the tomato pie, which I decided to order. I asked for a medium, but what arrived was larger than a typical large from other pizzerias – it was enormous!The crust had a nice char, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The slice held together perfectly without sagging, and the taste was fantastic.I would definitely return!
September 11 · F'burg FoodieOrdered expensive pizza take out. A regular large cheese pie barely had any cheese, was dry and tasteless. I have had better pizza here before but not tonight. I ventured out and also ordered a small meatball ricotta cheese pie which was even dryer and more tasteless. Never going back here. Super crispy almost burnt crust did not help. Extremely disappointed. I spent $46 and I didn’t even eat it.
October 17 · Hope HStopped here on the way from Rhode Island back to NYC. Absolutely worth the trip. Patient and kind staff, delicious pizza!, classic pizzeria vibes. If I hadn't been driving, id have tried to the sangria.My boyfriend and I did a mix and match. It was crispy without tasting a little burnt, thin, and not an overwhelming amount of sauce.

The service was amazing and everyone was friendly and attentive. The pizza was great, loved the Neapoliton pizza and loved the sodas here as well! Super refreshing. We were on the way home from Vermont and passed by for dinner and this didn't disappoint.
February 24 · Emilyatmosphere and service were fine, it's a Pepe's. been to this one several times. Kitchen didn't have the servers back this time, there was heavy heavy oily residue mixed with the "char" on the bottom, so as we pulled slices off the tray we kept revealing worse and worse levels of wet charcoal-like oven carbon. it's almost always a 4 plus, and sometimes a five, but this time it wasn't so great. It was obvious to the server just by looking at the tray but it wasn't like we were going to send it back or ask for a new one, luck of the draw, nobody's perfect. It was only on one of the two pizzas so it was just a fluke. server kept my soda full and was nice, definitely worth a fat tip even if the one pizza didn't hit the normal Pepe's mark.
