★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered fried chicken with rice and beans. When I went to pick up my meal, I also asked for a side of gratine. I received three pieces of chicken and a small bowl of mac and cheese for $30. (I've attached some pictures to show what I got.)
June 26 · Jared ChandlerYesterday I went to ginger bits with my family. I never had hatitian food before. I enjoy what I got. We all had different dish. We had the fish, chicken, oxtail, and goat. Everything was made to order and fresh. The owner was very sweet and nice. She explain what everything was. Me not a pork eater she told to stay away from the black rice I did. The drinks was good also. If am ever in the area again I would go back again. This place a must win. Love to support our people ❤️.
September 21 · Tia JonesA Truly Delightful Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The red snapper fish was a standout, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ambiance was just right for a relaxed evening out, with pleasant background music. It's clear that this restaurant takes pride not only in its food but also in creating a memorable experience for its guests. We'll be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming setting!
July 18 · W GI really enjoy eating at Ginger Bite. This is authentic Haitian food—just like my grandmother used to make. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted by the rich, inviting aroma of good Haitian cooking.I especially loved the red snapper the legume and the shrimp with black rice Djon Drojn—both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. This is truly authentic Haitian cuisine.I can confidently say this is the **best Haitian food in New York**. **Marie Michelle** clearly knows what she’s doing—she cooks with heart, and you can taste the love in every bite. The food is flavorful, comforting, and made with care.I’m so excited to take her cooking class in October!!!!!!
September 13 · Marie Charles1. The person taking orders on the phone is not polite at all and that kind of attitude stinks.2. Why 40$+ for food just to tell me that you don’t do sizes(Right because it’s easier getting away with the small portions for outrageous prices)3. And I wasn’t impressed by the food at all.Going to some of the reviews I felt validated because I seen how many people relates to me and clearly no efforts is being made to change these issues which is sickening. Then the Haitian community will turn around and say that they don’t get support whole time it’s more about money then it is about serving people and be respectful to one another. Truly sad.
