Hong Kong Eats大家好港式茶餐厅 Introduce
For New Yorkers who crave the vibrant, eclectic flavors of a traditional Hong Kong style fast food restaurant, often known as a Cha Chaan Teng, Hong Kong Eats (大家好港式茶餐厅) is a must-visit destination in Flushing, Queens. This popular eatery serves as a culinary bridge, bringing the unique, East-meets-West dishes of Hong Kong's beloved café culture right to the heart of one of NYC's largest Chinatowns. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick, satisfying meal any time of the day, offering everything from classic buttery toast and hot milk tea to hearty baked rice and dim sum.
Hong Kong Eats embraces a casual and straightforward dining experience, making it a reliable spot for locals seeking comfort food and a quick bite. They are celebrated for their massive menu that truly covers every category of Hong Kong cuisine. The establishment is popular for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, making it a true all-day dining staple.
Location and Accessibility
This authentic Hong Kong-style eatery is conveniently located at 44-12 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355, USA. Kissena Boulevard is a major thoroughfare in Flushing, placing the restaurant right in the middle of a bustling commercial and residential district in Queens.
Its prime location means it’s highly accessible for New York residents. For those utilizing public transit, the restaurant is a short distance from the Main Street-Flushing station, a crucial terminus for the 7 subway line and various Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) trains. Numerous bus routes also pass through or near the Kissena Boulevard corridor, ensuring easy access from various points within Queens and neighboring boroughs. While downtown Flushing can be busy, the location on Kissena Blvd offers a slightly less frenetic atmosphere than the Main Street core. This spot is good for kids and, despite its casual atmosphere, manages to maintain a reputation for being relatively clean, especially compared to some of the area's older dining options.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This Hong Kong style eatery/bakery is nothing special but the ladies behind the counter are very polite. Food is little on the bland side but gets the job done. This place serves up your typical Hong Kong dishes, as well as bubble teas and even roast meat. Indoor dining available however is self-serve so no tipping is required. The restaurant is fairly clean…..at least compared to many other restaurants in Flushing area.
August 05 · Jesse YuanWorst breakfast ever omg. Stale bread (pine apple bun) it was microwaved hence it made the bread even soggier than it already is. Shrimp rice roll is thick as h*ll. What an experience! If I can rate it with 0 star, I would!
April 13 · Anna yuanHad no idea what happened to this restaurant. But I'm only giving it five stars just for its breakfast: Nothing beats Spam wrapped in Fried Egg on a Toast, Oatmeal, and French Toast as a combo.Although the quality of the food otherwise has admittedly declined sadly. But if this place is permanently closed, now where the hell am I gonna get my spam with egg on a toast?
February 12 · Hamon LordHidden gem. Was looking for authentic Hong Kong food. Was hesitant after reading some of the reviews regarding their bread / buns but I decided to try it anyway because they have free parking in the back. To my surprise, while most of the dishes I tried were above average flushing quality, the egg tart was the best I’ve ever had in New York. The staff was very polite like everyone else’s reviews says, I asked them about the buns and bread, they said they used to order it from a bake shop but now it’s made fresh in house! No wonder the buns and bread were exceptional. The egg tart is genuinely the best I’ve tried in New York.
June 15 · kcxgvr4They sell hands down the best fresh baked, small batch egg tarts in downtown Flushing! For $2 a pop (price as of Jan 2024), it is the most heavenly treat to give yourself. Crisp, flaky crust. Warm and fresh out of the oven, not too sweet egg custard filling. Go here to get your egg tart fix!!The polo bao (pineapple bun) was meh... The bun was soft but so was the topping -- it lacks the crunchiness. The steamed rice rolls I ordered were not fully steamed and were hard on one end.I won't be back to try other things on the menu, but will return just for the egg tart.
