## What is Worth Choosing
To truly appreciate the authenticity and unique offerings of Hungry Thirsty, New Yorkers should focus on the dishes that differentiate it from the standard Thai fare and lean into the bold, genuine flavors the restaurant is known for.
Start with the menu's unique selections. The customer reviews point to the excellence of the **unique local Thai dishes** and **Inspiration** items like **Khoong Muk Kai Kem** and **Panang**. Opting for one of these lesser-known specialties provides the most authentic and exciting culinary adventure. Given the praise for the spiciness, if you are a fan of heat, be sure to request the authentic spice level; otherwise, communicate with the friendly staff for a milder preparation.
Explore the **Kang/Tom** (curry/soup) section for deeply flavored main courses, such as the **Kang Som**, a Thai classic known for its bold, sour, and spicy profile. For those seeking plant-based options, the dedicated **Vegan** section, with choices like **Kang Hed** and **Chap Shy**, ensures that healthy and meat-free diners can enjoy equally unique and flavorful dishes.
Finally, consider pairing your meal thoughtfully. Given that the restaurant offers a selection of **Beer**, **Wine**, and **Cocktails**, choosing a beverage that complements the spiciness—perhaps a crisp beer or a cooling house cocktail—will enhance the overall dining experience. Whether you choose to **Dine-in** to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and excellent service or order **Delivery** to savor the fresh, authentic flavors at home, Hungry Thirsty is a choice that promises to satisfy.

September 16 · Choengchon PhermwattahanachaiI’m from Philly, and I came all the way to Brooklyn just to try Hungry Thirsty and let me tell you, it was so worth it! The food blew me away with its authentic Thai flavors, but what really sets this place apart is the menu. They offer unique local Thai dishes that you just don’t see at most Thai restaurants. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the cozy, welcoming vibe and super friendly staff made the experience even better. If you’re looking for something beyond the typical Thai spot, Hungry Thirsty is a true hidden gem. I’d make the trip again in a heartbeat!
June 23 · Chloe PhamAimmie was a great helper that guided us for house specials! We ordered beef curry, sweet pork and fried fish. All very tasty, especially the curry is authentic and the spicy level is just right. Plus very cute cups for the drinks!
August 23 · Haolun LiuThe restaurant is in the same location as Ugly Baby, same decor and setup. The service was fast and we were able to get seated without reservation on early Friday evening. The food is as excellent as it was at Ugly Baby. Creative, unique dishes, full of flavor, and spice. There are some new dishes and it seems there is more balance with more dishes that are reasonably spicy rather than super spicy.
April 26 · Yelena Conawaythis place is indeed really really amazing. our food was amazing, and pretty spicy: we only got one item that was listed as the least spicy, and it wasn't too bad, but it was still pretty spicy. they can't change spice levels, and most items are spicy, so only go here if you can at least handle some spice! food tasted great, some of the best seafood I've ever had tbh.however, I will say: this place is very small, and you will most probably have to make a reservation or wait a bit for a table, and the prices are VERY HIGH. more than doubled what you'd normally pay for the dish. it's up to you to decide whether that's worth it for you, but me personally, I'd only go once just to try it.
