★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Rita was the best! It was our first time coming here and she was so nice to explain all the items, give great recommendations, and she was the nicest person. The food was bomb and I would 10000000% go back, this place is a 10/10.
September 17 · Clint Brandon CaveVery nice family owned restaurant in Sunnyside. They offer typical Paraguayan food and the prices are very decent. We shared the chipa guazu (cheese corn soufflé), a mix of empanadas - beef, ham and cheese and chicken, the Picada de Carne y Chorizo and dessert and the food was delicious and more than enough for three people.
April 14 · Lou MCute ass vibe in this place. Plenty of menu items but I wanted to try the more traditional menu items for the culture. I ordered these 4 to go.- Chilena Empanada $3.50Fried beef, egg, raisins, and olives. Really liked this one. I actually hate olives, but I didn’t mind them here at all.- Chipa So'o $4.50Salty corn based cake with ground beef and eggs. Smelled like cornbread and tasted great.- Croquetas de Carne $2.75Breaded ground beef croquettes. Just straight beef paste. Not into the consistency and it was pretty dry.- Pajagua Mascada $6Ground beef and yuca patty. Same complaint as the beef croquette, not the biggest fan of the paste-y consistency and kinda dry. There was however a very satisfying paper-thin crispy fried crust that made for a more pleasant experience. My biggest complaint was that the ground beef menu items were really dry. Couldn’t stop wishing I had some kind of green sauce or something to go with it. Maybe blasphemous to say, and yeah, we got it to go, so who knows. Maybe there would have been sauces if we had dined in or asked.
April 12 · Umarbin SiddikiDelicious food with friendly service. The empanadas and the yucas were light and tasty. The cultet for two was more than enough for two. Everything wasn't greasy at all which I applaud.Sometimes you really wish the food wasn't as oily and this place delivered.Other reviewers recommended the Chipa Guazu and I recommend it as well! It's like a creamy corn filled bread.Highly recommend this restaurant.
August 13 · Clint KimAbsolutely loved this place - everything from the food, to the service, to the homey local restaurant atmosphere was perfect. The chipa and cocido were delicious as are their empanadas. Our waitress Rita was such a sweetheart and so knowledgeable, would definitely come back! Saludos❤️
