★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fun spot with loud music, strong spicy ginger margaritas, mimosa trees, and booth, bar, and stool seating. A nice size menu with a good variety of food. I had a chicken Caesar salad and my friend had avocado toast with salmon on the side. Enjoyed mine and she seemed to like hers as well. The staff is sweet and welcoming. Would gladly come back.
June 21 · Emily Fligel(3.8/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️) this place is pretty basic. American style food. They had a taco Tuesday special with margaritas which def seem to be the affordable choices. Now I got their steak ciabatta and it was so bland, the bread tasted like a regular hero bread, stale. I was disappointed. Their fries are mid. The service was alright. Overall I guess if your friends like this spot and want to come I’d go but it doesn’t give greatness or anything special.
June 11 · MichelleOverall a good experience here. The vibe was good, they had tennis on and i was able to sit at the bar and watch the full match. Not too busy surprisingly for a Sunday at lunchtime. I can’t comment on the alcohol because i don’t drink. The food was good, i ordered the burger and the patty appeared to be a fresh or frozen pre portioned patty. It was too perfectly shaped to be a hand shaped patty. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just tells you it wasn’t fresh ground beef. The bartender was cool and we had a few conversations. I’d come back again and recommend it to others.
June 09 · Justin EppsMy wife loves this place and we moved down the street so she was excited to take me. The first time I got a veggie burger that tasted like Morningstar Farms. The second time I got the Pesto Chicken sandwich and it was soggy. Both times my wife got the Mac n cheese which she loves and we split the garden party flatbread which we both kind of liked. Went for a third time last week with a friend and we both got salads (I got Cobb and she got Gem) and split the Brussel sprout app. My friend didn’t like her salad. I thought the Cobb was a bit strange—the dressing was really thin and the chicken tasted like it was the kind that they serve on airplanes—really heavy on the artificial flavoring…weird . The Brussel sprouts were soggy. The space is beautiful and the servers and bartenders are incredibly friendly . The food is just kind of meh. There are so many places like this in Astoria that serve mediocre slightly elevated new American food—this place, Trestle, Rivercrest, The Grand, etc. They all kind of taste the same and it isn’t good.
August 17 · Stuart DavisA nice bar area, light and I'd say a very good selection of items in the menu including bottomless brunch.Service however is subpar with not much of a smile from our server. More of a vibe thing.Food wise it also lacked flavor (not basic seasoning) whilst the dough of the bread feeling stale maybe use focasia instead?).Overall an opportunity for improvement but I can't visit back until they do.
