★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've been here many times over the last year or so and I absolutely love it! Always a delicious meal from Apps to Dessert. Never disappointed. Some friends I dine with are GF or Vegan, and this has lots of great options. Tonight my friend ordered the Lobster Scampi and because of her dietary restrictions she swapped out the pasta for mashed potatoes and also swapped out a vegetable. Extremely accommodating! I ordered the chicken kabobs which were juicy, and so yummy, which came with saffron rice and a garlic aoili. Delicious! 3 large kaboobs and a large enough portion that I had some leftover to enjoy tomorrow! We also had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer (no complaints!) and for dessert I ordered the flourless chocolate cake, which was so decadent and exactly what I hoped it would be. In the past I've ordered the Scallops over Risotto, a Salmon entree on the regular menu and some dinner specials, and always enjoyed, which is why we keep coming back. Hummus, fried Calamari and Mussels on the appetizer menu I've also ordered in the past, all really good! Service is friendly and attentive and tonight was a beautiful evening so we enjoyed sitting outside.Love this place and it's always top of my list. Just Go!
April 15 · Dawn Buldo RealtorI visited this place for the first time during a Mom's Night Out with a few friends. Great attentive service where the staff was also able to accommodate one of us who had a food allergy. It was BYOB, so we were able to bring in our own adult drinks of choice to share with the group. The private room we sat at was spacious, well lit, and was simple yet classy. For appetizers, we shared the Roasted Garlic and Brie, Zucchini Chips which we enjoyed. As an entree I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna which was also delicious as well as the Nutella Creme Brulee for dessert.I would definitely come back with my friends or perhaps date night with my husband to try the other dishes.
July 03 · Venessa ManzanoCame here to try something local. Smaller menu with great sounding options.Ordered the special Blacken Grilled Swordfish with rice and pineapple. Tastes great, larger portion but entirely too much rice. Also was more: rice & bulgur which was good but heavier.Apps were ok: spinach artichoke dip & coconut shrimp.Place was quite pricey and had good ambiance and sound level ... until a singer with an electric guitar came and deafened the room with the noise they made. Felt like it was a TGIF or Chilis after that.Staff was friendly enough and accommodating. Restaurant is clean. Place is BOYB but they do serve NJ-local Red & White wine.
December 04 · Nishan LahoodSuper great experience. Lamb shank was amazing....I had the jasmine Sabayon berry dessert....quite alot of GF items that were amazing. I just feel better on GF, everything that I had tonight taste so much better than typical places I go toTook my Mom there again on 2/23/22.. just amazing...just as good if not better than the first time I was here a month ago
February 24 · David PalmerI've been through many many restaurants. But I only review where needed to make changes. The quality here wasn't good, and the price was high for the quality. Went there for last minute dinner with my son because he wanted a steak dinner. He got the NY strip special with blue cheese. Had asked for medium well and blue cheese on the side, but he got medium rare (very red and bloody) and blue cheese mixed in on the top. My son said the taste was off, so it wasn't to his liking. Maybe others will like it. From our experience, the steak was not tender, tough to cut, and it had some kind of marinade that we didn't like the taste. The waiter kept forgetting us and what we had requested for. I guess he was too busy. It was a Saturday evening, which I expect restaurants should be at their best performance. I still left my usual 20% tip.I got the seafood paella. It wasn't that good. Barely any taste, no mussels like it said on the menu, only clams, then small cheap quality rings of calamari, small pieces of sausage and few shrimps.Got the "mini dessert to share for two"... the menu stated it was to taste all their desserts, but it didn't - only had a select few. It came with one mini cup of tiramisu and one mini cup chocolate mousse cake, those were good. Just wish we had just ordered those. Not worth the price for the "mini dessert to share for two". My son said the cookies and brownies were like the packed ones from a grocery store. Didn't taste like baked in-house, and truly they gave you very "mini" pieces.I suggest to make changes here and revisit quality of ingredients, as well as align to the menu description.I am giving 3 stars instead of 2, since the atmosphere, decor, and the music were nice vibes. The host, cook, manager/owner seemed nice. Also it seemed that the cook was really working hard for this.
