## What is Worth Choosing: Signature Ciders and the Full Experience
When you visit Rockland Cider Works, what is most worth choosing is an immersion into their signature craft. Start with the cider that defined them: the Dry Run or the Greener Pastures. These core offerings showcase the purity of the New York apples—dry, crisp, and clean—without the overwhelming sweetness often found in commercial ciders. For those who appreciate a high-ABV option, ask about their stronger blends like the Hard Run, known for packing a flavorful punch. These are perfect choices for a smooth, refreshing drink, especially after a long day or hike in the beautiful Hudson Valley surroundings.
However, the real fun lies in their experimental and seasonally rotating taps. For the adventurous palate, you must try one of their unique, unconventional ciders like Rob Rod's Snack Time, which boldly incorporates Peanut Butter flavor. While it may sound unusual, these specialty ciders are what they are known for, and they are essential for the full Rockland Cider Works experience. In the fall, be sure to check for seasonal favorites like Bertha's Brew (often featuring pumpkin spice notes), which quickly become local sensations.
Beyond the drink itself, what is worth choosing is the full social and environmental experience. Plan your visit to take advantage of the Outdoor seating and enjoy the relaxing garden environment. Check their event schedule for opportunities to enjoy Live music or participate in their local Trivia nights. By pairing a flight of their unique craft ciders with the comfortable, inclusive, and entertaining atmosphere, you choose not just a drink, but a memorable local outing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everything was great! We loved the cider and the atmosphere. The only downfall was the KIDS!!! Too many kids and too many not being watched by their parents!! The employees did their best but we should put in a rule that we can’t have kids ha!!
October 23 · Briana CareyI was drawn in by this cider that reminds me of Bertha by the Grateful Dead. It’s too bad they don’t have the Hard Run on tap. A 9% cider is really not that different from two glasses of wine. Expensive four pack price for this doesn’t exactly encourage my return, but I found the seating along the periphery of the gardens inviting and the Greener Pastures was smooth and refreshing after a 13 mile hike. I wish there was something hoppier as the raspberry and cranberry were just alright in my opinion. I didn’t try the peanut butter because that sounded strange and artificial. Alas, I think I’m just more of a beer person, but I’ll keep trying to find ciders I enjoy.
May 15 · Csilla ZsuzsaCider / brewery that is super dog friendly ! It was our first time having cider, so we decided to go with the flights. Surprisingly, espresso was our favorite flavor.
October 24 · Jill ianReally enjoyed our afternoon at Rockland Cider Works. Lots of outdoor seating and extremely kid and dog friendly. Our pup got a lot of love from the staff as well as some treats! The cider on tap is excellent, they also have a variety of local beers. You can purchase snacks and local cheeses from the adjoining farm store and create your own cheese plate. Bathrooms are port-a-potties but very clean. We stayed until closing and didn't feel rushed out.
October 16 · Meghan DixonOverall, a great experience. I had a flight of ciders, and enjoyed them all. Cheese and crackers were enjoyed by all, and were very welcome for the kids. The farm is gorgeous, and even in the heavy rain we had, was a perfect environment to enjoy the evening with family. Only complaint, and it really isn't meant as one, is that we tried a canned cider, which was $6 but we were not given the full can, just a glass full. For $6 we should have been given the tiny bit left in the can. We bought two chicken dinners we bought before leaving were fabulous. Will go back any chance we can.
