Spice Grill Introduce
For discerning food lovers in New Jersey, particularly those in the Parsippany and Morris County area, **Spice Grill** stands out as a premier destination for experiencing the true depth and variety of South Asian cuisine. Located conveniently on US-46, this establishment is far more than a typical Indian restaurant; it serves as a culinary bridge, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that span traditional Indian favorites, exciting Indo-Chinese fusion dishes, and the rare, regional specialty of Kathiyawadi cuisine. Whether you are craving the creamy richness of a classic **Chicken Tikka Masala** ($17.95), the aromatic spice of a Hyderabadi-style **Lamb Biryani** ($18.95), or a unique tandoor-baked bread like **Bullet Naan** ($6.95), Spice Grill offers an authentic and memorable dining experience.
The restaurant has cultivated a reputation among local patrons for its commitment to high-quality food and an inviting, comfortable atmosphere. One of the greatest drawcards is its truly comprehensive menu, which ensures that every diner, regardless of dietary preference or tolerance for spice, will find something exceptional. The robust selections include dedicated sections for both non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes, featuring comforting classics like **Palak Paneer** ($15.95) and flavorful entrees such as **Goat Vindaloo** ($21.95). Furthermore, the inclusion of Halal options, healthy choices, and diverse vegan/vegetarian selections makes it an inclusive spot for groups and families.
Spice Grill has been a favorite meeting spot for local groups and a reliable source for a casual, cozy dinner. ---Choosing Spice Grill in Parsippany is an excellent decision for anyone in New Jersey seeking a comprehensive, high-quality, and authentic Indian dining experience. What makes this restaurant truly worth choosing is its **culinary ambition and diversity**. While many Indian restaurants in the area may stick to North Indian standards, Spice Grill excels by offering three distinct and expertly executed cuisines: traditional curries, the increasingly popular Indo-Chinese fusion, and the specialized, hard-to-find Kathiyawadi fare. This means a new culinary adventure is always possible, from a familiar **Chicken Korma** ($17.95) to a unique regional dish like **Dahi Gathiya** ($16.99).
The restaurant also provides an ideal balance of quality and value, notably through its daily buffet option and the generally generous portions and average pricing mentioned in customer reviews. While the buffet experience may be best suited for "light eaters" according to one review, it still presents an excellent opportunity to taste a variety of items. For those ordering à la carte, the consistency of food quality and the kitchen's ability to adjust spice levels ensure a custom-tailored, satisfying meal every time.
Finally, the combination of robust features—including **Halal options**, extensive **vegan and vegetarian options**, full **wheelchair accessibility**, and versatile service models (delivery, takeout, dine-in, and catering)—makes Spice Grill a reliable, convenient, and inclusive dining choice for the entire Parsippany community and beyond. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had been to this restaurant to try out their buffet. I expected a lot after reading reviews about this restaurant on google. We had been greeted well and made us to seat. Then started struggle, it was vegetarian food we want to eat and we don’t have much items to eat. There were two veg and non-veg starters and three entrees for non veg, two entree for vegetarian and one dal and one dessert. Most of the veg items were not tasty. By the time I want have dessert, I had ti scrape it from the dish. Very limited food for very limited items. Food was not great though. We always have to ask them to refill the food items. The price is not worth for buffet they offered. I don’t recommend when you plan to eat heavy. Light eaters can give a try.
June 15 · Sudhakar TuragaThis was a group dinner with my friends, we usually meet once a month. We picked this one based on recommendations. The restaurant is situated within a strip mall, plenty of parking. Easily accessible.Very good food, right amount of spice and heat for those in our group who don't have a high spiciness tolerance. Decent portions, average price.Final words: Good place, would recommend.
October 27 · George WangI’ve been coming here for years and will continue to. It is the best Indian food and I drive quite far to get food from here. The service is awesome and the food portions are quite a bit so you definitely get your money’s worth. I have tried their buffet and their menu style ordering and I love both of them. Definitely check out this place. I recommend it.
July 02 · Sarika KWe went on a Sunday right after they opened, The buffet was excellent very fresh and a good selection. Chili eggplant was delicious. Goat, lamb and chicken were tasty. Excellent biryani rice. Dal and Nan were just okay. Good service as well.
December 22 · Robert QuinnAmazing first experience at this Indian restaurant! Much better than Moghul Express that is a few miles ahead. The Chili Chicken and Shrimp Hakka Noodles is so tasty with amazing spices! The cook is amazing at this restaurant all of the food had great tasting flavor overall. The quantity of the food was perfect for the price and it’s much more affordable than Moghul. Very caring, friendly and loving service from the staff serving the food.
January 01 · Sahil ShahMaybe it’s just me and my unshakable craving for Indian-Chinese that keeps setting me up for disappointment. I keep trying it at every Indian restaurant I visit, hoping for that perfect Delhi or Calcutta-style fix — and this place was no different. I can’t even call this Gujju-Chinese; it was more like Indore or Nagpur’s version, loaded with masalas I didn’t know could exist in “Chinese” food. Never thought I’d live to taste so many regional interpretations of the same dish. The quest clearly continues. That said, if you stick to dal, sabji, and roti — those are genuinely awesome here
October 17 · ShaileshChicken 65 is incredible and my fav. Chicken Tikka sauce is awesome. Spicy and flavorful.
