Tapas54 Wine Room Introduce
In the dynamic culinary landscape of New York City, where a new restaurant seems to open every day, finding a spot that combines a cozy, inviting atmosphere with genuinely flavorful food can feel like a true discovery. Tapas54 Wine Room, a Latino-owned establishment on W 54th Street, is one such place. It offers a unique and vibrant take on the tapas concept, blending traditional Spanish small plates with a distinct Latin American flair. The restaurant's ambiance is both trendy and cozy, with a warm wood decor and thoughtful touches like LED lights and a beautifully decorated restroom, all contributing to a vibe that is both intimate and lively.

This commitment to customer service ensures that every guest feels valued and comfortable.
The menu at Tapas54 Wine Room is designed for sharing and exploration, encouraging diners to try a variety of dishes. While the "tapas" portion sizes may surprise some, a reviewer noted they were quite generous for a New York restaurant, which can be seen as a welcome change in a city known for its smaller portions. The food is consistently praised for its plating and well-cooked, well-seasoned flavors. From quick bites to more substantial plates, the menu offers a rich selection that invites you to embark on a culinary journey. Standout dishes, like the Slow Roasted Tomatoes, have earned high praise for their delightful taste and simplicity.
In addition to the food, the restaurant's highlights include a great cocktail and wine list. This focus on beverages complements the small plates perfectly, allowing for a well-rounded and enjoyable dining experience. The combination of delicious food, a fantastic drink selection, and a warm, trendy atmosphere makes Tapas54 Wine Room a must-visit spot in the Hell's Kitchen area for anyone looking for a taste of Latin American and Spanish cuisine.

Overall enjoyed the tapas but honestly the portions were so big this is America I guess 😭😭😭 I thought tapas were meant to be SMALL bites 😭😭😭. We ordered too much thinking that. It was really nice.Last 1 was Ceviche.we were really disappointed as we were fish lover. The fish didn't seem fresh and the vinegar wasn't tasty.Although the server noticed the dirty side plates when bringing new food, he did not replace them until we asked. The side plates served were wet and not dry both times (including the first time). We were the only guests during our stay.Maybe the owner chef wasn't there on Sunday.
June 03 · Blue NYThis place is an absolute gem! At first, I wasn’t sure when I saw how small the restaurant was, but I’m so glad we gave it a chance. The food and drinks are truly amazing, and the service is excellent—warm, attentive, and welcoming. The tapas are outstanding. We tried the manchego & ham croquettes—the sauce that comes with them is so flavorful! The chorizo y gambas had perfectly cooked shrimp, and the stuffed eggplant was soft, rich, and balanced beautifully with a crispy touch from the sauce. For the main course, we had the pulpo (octopus)—a must-try dish! Perfectly tender, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented.Every bite was delicious, and the drinks paired so well. This is the kind of place that deserves more people discovering it. If you’re looking for amazing food, drinks, and top-notch service in a cozy spot, don’t hesitate—come here!
September 14 · Alani LA little Gem in the neighborhood. Truly an amazing place. Such a joy of a place to discover. The food was really amazing and MUCH more than expected. The food was more sophisticated than what seems to be a simple menu. Our server Ian was fantastic! And we met the chef (who was EXTREMELY friendly also) Harold. Thank you guys!!!
May 18 · Mel MaghuyopWe’re visiting from the UK and work in the food industry. I can not explain how amazing the food is at this restaurant! Every single dish was freshly prepared and truthfully the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The flavours were exceptionally thought through, things I wouldn’t expect together that I can’t believe nobody thought of before. Watch out for this place being a future James Beard award winner and getting a Michelin star or two. Perfection!
