I love the Allwood Diner. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The parking is free and it's always packed due to the great food served here. I had scrambled eggs, pastrami, home fries and an English muffin. Forgot to ask them to toast it but it was fresh and fluffy and chewy nonetheless. I like my home fries crispy and they did a great job. Lightly crispy and fluffy underneath. The selections for breakfast are great and they really heap everything on your plate. I took half of it home since it was so ample. At the entrance there is a great selection of pastries. So unavoidably delicious. Run don't walk to this great diner.

Parking is difficult during peak hours. Short wait for lunch(1:20pm). Waitress was very business like but good. Food came out quickly. My buddy asked for another small coleslaw but was told he had to purchase a side order. The side order for a small bowl of coleslaw was $5. My spicy chicken sandwich wasn't very spicy but was covered in what looked like spices. He said his chicken and cheese wrap was very good. Total for a chicken wrap, chicken sandwich, side of coleslaw and two drinks was $46

Breakfast waffle, eggs, & bacon was delicious. Burger was great as per husband. (He has tried plenty of burgers lol)Will go back to try more lunch and dinner plates.

Wanted to try a new diner spot, came across allwood diner on my Google search near me ,looked at the reviews and so away we went, was definitely not disappointed. The food was amazing, the staff was super friendly, and place was newly renovated after the pandemic or much resent, I tell you it was so good even forgot to take some pictures 📸, shocking good, this is now our new diner spot to eat at reasonable prices, step aside TOPPS DINER Or even the local IHOP, guys this is a MUST GET IT NOW.

Being a NJ native diners are a staple here in our lovely state. However, not all are created equal. When a gem is found I must share! Trip to northern NJ we stumbled upon The Allwood Diner. The reviews in maps made it our best choice to try. So glad we did!! The diner is not real large in space (tables), yet cozy booths, clean and well staffed. Our server and others were friendly and welcoming. The food was our main YES to this review. The menu is comparable to other diners, but the quality and portion sizes... hands down one of the best. I wish I had taken a better photo, but the plate was FULL. Portions are LARGE and the prices are beyond reasonable. Shockingly lower. Will absolutely visit again.
