If you want the real See’s Candies experience, skip this place. This isn’t a true See’s store – it’s a licensee location cashing in on the brand name. Prices are inflated way beyond what you’d pay on the official See’s website, and in fact, it would be cheaper to have the candy delivered to your door than to buy here. I paid almost $10 for just four pieces of chocolate – absolutely ridiculous. If this was inside an airport where high markups are expected, maybe it would make sense – but this is just a random storefront passing costs onto customers.The disappointment doesn’t stop there. See’s is famous for giving you a sample – it’s part of the tradition. Here? Forget it. No sample, no charm, nothing. Your “shopping bag” is literally a plain white Uline bag with zero branding. Selection is limited and underwhelming, like they’re doing the bare minimum to justify the markup.Bottom line: beware. This is not the See’s you know and love. Don’t waste your money here. Order online or go to a real corporate See’s store – you’ll get better service, real packaging, fair pricing, and the experience that made See’s legendary.

Very disappointed with my purchase from See's location in NYC. I bought Toffee-ettes from the store which turned out to be overpriced as they were advertised for $32 online and in store was $36.95. The employees stated that "It's because we're in the east coast". I cannot understand what that statement means as they should be selling for the prices advertised online. They have provided false advertisement or they're just overcharging for no reason. I am very unhappy with this type of service and would not recommend you buy any candy or chocolates from this location of See's. They also do not provide and tasting of any of their products which is a big letdown for new customers who have never had any of their products.

Found some see's candy in New York! Wanted to check out this shop when I saw it opened and finally got to stop by today. No sampling in this location though. small shop!Got home and tried the chocolates and was a bit disappointed... I got a few flavors that I really liked and have gotten before (got some a few months back in September when I was in LA for a work trip), but they just didn't taste as fresh (cashew brittle and California crunch plus some other random flavors, peanut flavors were ok), the brittle was hard to take a bite, and the white chocolate came off first, then the brittle was sticky after you chew a bit (sticks on the teeth too), wasn't as good as i remembered. Guess I'll still be getting my see's candy when I go to the west coast to visit.For more expensive and less enjoyable experience, this was a let down, and I’m a huge see’s candy fan :(

Great staff - friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! This is the only See's Candies store on the East Coast, with product flown in weekly from Los Angeles to ensure freshness!
