If you're wondering what to choose from the limited but impressive menu at 7th Street Burger Chelsea, the answer is simple: the burgers. The restaurant's reputation is built on the strength of its main offering. The Double Cheeseburger is a standout, frequently mentioned in customer reviews for its rich, flavorful, and "delectable grease" that makes for a truly satisfying bite. The combination of tender beef, a firm potato bun, grilled onions, and their special house sauce creates a symphony of flavors that many compare to a "Krabby Patty" from a beloved cartoon, a testament to its memorable taste. The house sauce, in particular, is a fan favorite, elevating the burger to a level far beyond what its simple appearance might suggest. While the burgers might be slightly smaller in stature than some might expect for the price, the immense flavor more than makes up for it. The quality of the ingredients is evident with every bite, and the simplicity of the menu means they can focus on making each burger as good as it can be.
For those who prefer a little heat, the Spicy Jalapeño Cheeseburger and its double version are also excellent choices. The added kick of jalapeños complements the rich beef and cheese perfectly. Vegetarian diners are not left out, as the Impossible Burger is a fantastic alternative that receives high praise for its flavor and texture. It’s a great option that proves a vegetarian burger can be just as delicious and satisfying as its meat-based counterpart. As for sides, the fries are a good companion to the main event, and for those feeling adventurous, the Loaded Fries (available in both beef and vegetarian options) offer a hearty, flavorful side that can almost be a meal on its own. While the menu might not have a wide variety of drinks, the classic options they do have, like Mexican Coke and Sprite, pair perfectly with the burgers. Ultimately, the choice at 7th Street Burger is not about variety, but about quality. Their unwavering commitment to crafting a truly excellent burger is what makes them a must-visit spot in New York City.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Initially this was gonna be a 4 star but I will gradually get to why I ultimately give this spot a 5 star review but starting off with a few grievances.First coming to the spot, it is small and condensed, there's no seating anywhere inside the place so not gonna lie, I was disappointed that I won't have the comfort of eating in, especially with the weather because it was COLD outside. Inside, the menu is rather limited. Think of In & Out where the staple food is a burger, fries and a drink. That's literally all that's available there so I settled on a double Cheeseburger, fries and I got a drink elsewhere because the place doesn't have zero sugar soda, another disappointment but I digress. Pricing of the food isn't too bad. It was only $16 and in NYC that isn't bad. The fries, were alright, passable but not amazing. Now we get to the burger itself and my goodness this burger, even slightly small in stature was BIG in taste. It literally saved this review. The beef was tender, the potato bun that covered it was firm to the touch, the cheese, grilled onions and the house sauce...I don't know what's in that sauce but I want some more of it. Heck, THIS IS WHAT WENDY'S LOUSY EXCUSE OF A "KRABBY PATTY" SHOULD'VE TASTED LIKE! Forget what they were marketing, the 7th Street Burger is the REAL Krabby Patty! You could come to the spot just for the burger and you won't leave here disappointed. They may have a few things on their menu but the burgers are definitely done well. The burger through sheer will and determination, brought what would've been a 3 or 4 star into a 5. That burger is SOLID!
December 26 · Sledge WilliamsThe double cheeseburger is packed with flavor and delectable grease! Delicious. Only downside is that there is no dine-in option and for the burger price of $10, it was relatively small.
March 10 · Taylor BGreat burgers for sure at a reasonable price. Make sure you grab some ketchup before you leave.
June 03 · George RFood at any 7th Street burger is phenomenal, but this location stood above the many other locations I’ve been to. Here, your patties are super crispy and seasoned so well, so if you like a burger with excellent charred flavor, this is it.The fries are also always amazing.Service was excellent, and we were able to get our food made exactly as we wanted - a double cheeseburger for me and a double impossible burger for my friend. We also had to get their cokes in glass bottles because you can never argue that coke tastes the best from a bottle!
August 22 · GourmandI stopped in for a late lunch and found it wonderful. All employees exhibit remarkable proficiency. The servers are genuinely friendly, dishes are tasty, and portions fill you up. The menu items are delicious. I plan to visit again to sample more specialties.
