Absolutely garbage! I placed an order through Grubhub for $40 "worth" of food" for delivery. App states the food was delivered 10 minutes prior to the place closing, nothing is here. So I go there because they're about to close, and my order is sitting on the counter after being told "man we're closed". Whoever was behind the counter stated his partner closed out the order which sent me a delivered notification. So great, I got my food. HA! Ice cold, as if it was pulled out a fridge. $40, delivery charge and tip for non-delivered food! My panini was filled with spinach and 2 dry pieces of chicken. And the quac? A small tiny cup of disappointment...especially for the price. I hadd to reheat "freshly" cooked food! I want a refund for this garbage.

Ordered food from Mangia Healthy Kitchen in Staten Island and placed the order over the phone to a sarcastic man on the other end of the phone... My order came wrong AND missing items. After about 45 minutes without my food coming, I received a phone call from an extremely ANGRY delivery driver saying that I sent her to the wrong address... I corrected the address to the delivery driver who was still very angry. When the food came, the driver came into my place of work where I ordered the food to, and she came in yelling in the office demanding to know "who sent her to the wrong address"... Although I truly did not give them the wrong address... regardless of that I apologized because I understood it was an overall inconvenience. The driver responded with "do you know how much the tip was?!" Because the order was pre-paid for. After realizing I was not going to tip her more than I already did, she stormed off. THEN, about 15 minutes later I got a call from the manager of Mangia stating that I gave them the wrong address and that it was my fault they were backed up on orders because I "sent his driver over an hour out of the way". Good thinking though sir, you are extremely backed up on orders so lets waste more time to angrily yell at a client. Great business motto sir I commend you. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Food was fresh... owner Alexandra is extremely rude, thus we will not order again. I called after receiving delivery to advise items were missing from our order. (It happens, not the worst thing. Items were received about another hour and a half later.) I called again to advise there was an item on my receipt which I did not order, nor did I receive. Also mentioned the order was half the size it usually is. Alexandra was snippy from the inception of the call and escalated to a child-like tantrum as she explained the order is not different, nor was I charged for a salad on my receipt which clearly shows I was charged for. Less than acceptable interaction with someone who claims to "own the store".

The one star is for terrible customer service. It's dumb to upset a customer as they did. We were on our way to try out this place using our $20 gift voucher purchased a few weeks ago online. The uninformed girl answers the phone, "hello???" like she's expecting her friend to call her. I ask, "Is this Mangia Healthy Kitchen?" "Yeah," she says as if I've annoyed her already for confirming I'm calling a business establishment rather than her cell phone. I say, "OK. Good. So we wanted to make sure you were open as we're coming over. We have a $20 voucher we want to use, okay?" "Oh... Um... No. We only take those on certain days and today's not one of them." It's Tuesday, July 10th mind you. Not a busy Saturday. Not a holiday."Why is that?" I ask. "We just got back from vacation so we're not taking vouchers today." I ask to speak to the manager. She tells me to call back in an hour. I say we are already on our way & we're only 20 minutes away, that we don't want to go there if they're not going to accept the voucher that we bought from them! She says, "Well we're not taking them today, so you better not come." so we didn't. And won't. Ever. I hope you don't either.

Very frustrated with this restaurant. I ordered lunch form them using online ordering and never received a salad from the order a week and a half ago. I called the restaurant and asked to be refunded the cost of the salad. Instead of a refund I was charged again. I have now paid twice for a salad I never got. Spoke to them several times about this issue, and the owner blamed the online ordering system. Fair enough, but we are now a week and a half later with no refund.I spoke to the owner almost a week ago and he swore he would call me back and refund me from his own till if he had to. Alas, I received no phone call, and have not yet heard back from him after calling to complain again. So in summation, I paid twice for an item I never got and he owner failed to follow up even though he promised he would.I contacted the online ordering system and they got back to me the same day. They informed me the company never contacted them, and refunded me on the spot. I will never order from them again. I will happily give my hard earned cash to Better, which has good food and customer service.
