★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Blown away by this place - from the food to the service and the atmosphere they nailed it all.I was visiting for a graduation and birthday.First THE FOOD: we did the brunch and I had chicken and waffles which were done perfectly. My wife had cheesy shrimp and grist that were thick well seasoned and very flavorful they had bottomless mimosas for $33 dollars so most of the party jumped on that. All of the food looked amazing and was not only present / plated well but tasted just as good as it looked. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to help with the two grandmothers that were with us.This place is a MUST. Next time your looking for a good brunch, lunch or any spot to eat
June 24 · Devon GrogansI had the opportunity to visit Lagos, and I must say I love the space, and the waiter was friendly. However, most of the food and sauce I ordered were quite salty. Everyone I went there with had the same concern. It would have been better if the food had less salt, and anyone who wants more salt can easily add it. I tend not to order snails at restaurants, as they are cooked too soft and in small sizes. I was right, I love my snail in bigger size and crunchy and the salty sauce made it worst. Nevertheless, I loved the creativity in naming the drink. The side chick drink concept was fitting and they hit it right with the moimoi. I will definitely try again hoping they read this and reduce the salt for people like me on a cardiac diet 😊😊
June 21 · Msy DoesirI attended Lagos to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. My daughter (a Gen Z) recommended this place.Prior to my reservation I looked at their website. The pictures seemed very romantic. Their dress codes read formal attire, which I found inviting.Upon arriving, I immediately noticed the dress code was not enforced. We had a 7pm reservation, we were seated quite quickly. Our waitress was extremely kind, very attentive, engaging and polite. The service overall was the same.I as not expecting TVs. all over the dining area. The food was okay. The truffle fries were delicious as was the one night stand cocktail and the rice that comes with the jerk chicken.I had the Mac and cheese with crab but wasn’t impressed. It was too fish tasting more fish pasta.Over all it was an experience, my boyfriend enjoyed himself and we had a nice night.I would try other restaurants before going back to Lagos.
May 10 · Sara Colón5 StarsA Fun and Flavorful Night at Times Square LegosMy best friend and I had a reservation at Times Square Legos for Friday at 7:15 PM. Although she arrived closer to 7:30, the staff was very accommodating and still honored our reservation. We were seated on the second floor near a window, which was open and gave us a refreshing breeze—such a nice touch! We both ordered the jollof rice with beef, and I went with a ginger ale. The food was absolutely delicious—well-seasoned and flavorful. I probably should have added a vegetable for balance, but no regrets! My friend also ordered the macaroni and cheese, which she said was amazing. She paid an extra $20 for two more pieces of beef, which was a bit pricey—but she enjoyed every bite. After dinner, we went downstairs to the bar, and that’s where the night truly came alive. The bartender was hilarious and full of personality—he made my whole trip from the Bronx feel worth it! We each had two glasses of champagne and ended up staying longer than planned just because we were having such a good time.Yes, the food and drinks are on the pricier side, but the fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and quality experience made it feel totally worth it. If you're looking for good vibes, great food, and a lively night out in Times Square, Legos is the place to be
May 04 · J MTaking the train to Grand Central and walking the four blocks might be your best bet for getting here smoothly. Once you arrive at Lagos, you're greeted with a bit of an unusual step—they check your ID and take your photo. While I'm not opposed to it, I do wonder how long and where my information is being stored. The space itself is massive, spanning multiple floors with options for bar seating, table seating, and high-top tables. It’s an impressive setup, though it's clear they’ve created a more vibrant atmosphere for the evening crowd. My server, Vianelly, was excellent. She was attentive, informative, and really made sure our needs were met throughout the evening. For starters, the Mac and Cheese was the best choice. It's filling. I didn’t opt for any of the add-ons like lobster Mac because I wasn’t sure how much extra they’d provide for the added cost, but on its own, the dish gets It done.Unfortunately, the Calamari didn't live up to expectations. It came with a spicy aioli and a tomato-based sauce that felt a bit out of place. The sauce overpowered the dish, and while I'm not at a seafood restaurant, I still wish the calamari tasted better. The Island Salmon was a bit of a disappointment. It comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The mashed potatoes were a bit bland, but the asparagus had a nice lemon-butter flavor that was enjoyable. Sadly, the salmon was dry and lacked seasoning. The Red Stew, on the other hand, was good dish. The portion size was generous, with tender, flavorful meat. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauce came on the side, which I appreciated—it didn’t overwhelm the dish. One of the biggest downsides to Lagos is the music—it’s incredibly loud. It felt like I had to yell just to be heard by the person sitting across from me.While the portion sizes and food quality didn't quite justify the prices, it’s clear that Lagos is more about the experience.
