Blending the speed and accessibility of a neighborhood deli with the rich, authentic flavors of Central America, this establishment has carved out a specialty niche in the local food scene. Its focus is unequivocally on Salvadoran cuisine, bringing the national dish—the pupusa—along with other traditional plates, directly to the Nassau County community.
The name itself, "Antojitos Salvadoreños," translates to "Salvadoran Cravings," and the menu lives up to this promise. It is a destination for those who appreciate handmade, filling, and deeply flavorful food. While operating as a Deli, it transcends the typical sandwich and salad fare, offering robust options like various pupusas, pan relleno (stuffed bread), and a selection of platos tipicos (typical plates). Furthermore, the inclusion of popular items like Mexican Tacos and classic New York-style hot sandwiches ensures that the deli is a versatile resource, serving both the desire for authentic Central American flavors and the need for quick, familiar comfort food. This duality makes it an essential part of the Westbury dining landscape, perfect for a "Quick visit" or a casual, sit-down meal.
The dedication to authentic Salvadoran cooking sets Antojitos Salvadoreños Deli apart from other local quick-service food options. It provides an accessible cultural experience for the diverse New York population, presenting every dish with care and attention to flavor, as noted by customers who describe the food as "absolutely amazing" and "packed with flavor."

antojitos salvadoreños deli Reviews
The young guy working the counter is racist. He purposefully discriminated me since I was not Hispanic by giving me less than half the portion I was served by the lady working there. Also he all he gave me was a bone piece with minimum meat. The lady gave me 2 pieces of leg. Enough said. I asked for the same dish and container size both times.
