This is one of my favorite places to eat in Nyack. Lots of vegetarian options, consistently wonderful food, beautifully presented and fair prices. The inside seating is tight and tables are small, so you may prefer outdoors (pet friendly). The decor of both is charming. The wait staff are very friendly and seem happy.

My friend took me to this place for breakfast and the food and coffee were really good. I probably had a really good mocha in a very long time. For my food I had ordered a shakshooka which is served four slices of pita. The shakshooka was really good although I felt, the pita was not enough for the quantity of shakshooka and it left me craving for more pita. Additionally we order a chocolate croissant and a chocolate cheese muffin. The chocolate cheese muffin was absolutely delicious. It gave a feeling of a chocolate cheese cake. Would definitely visit this cafe when I visit New York again

Parisian cafe music has become my recent favorite...unexpected melody for a Mediterranean cafe.When I was visiting Nyack last weekend, I noticed Art Cafe had Shakshooka on the menu. When I returned this weekend to enjoy Shop Hop (antiquing at its best), I ordered the very same tomato stew I reviewed at another café weeks before.Except, this was not the same.Here, this dish was served in a ceramic skillet, making the serving look small. Tisk, tisk. That was Wrong...just perfect in size.The house recipe was simmered down to the consistency of a Thick stew. Using a variety of tomatos and Heavily flavored with spices, a baked egg was sliced down the center and filled with feta cheese. Salivating.The comfort meal was served, again, with pita, but this pita was chewy in the middle. Nice surprise.I'd go on about the goat cheese Malawich, which i recommended to the table sitting near me, but I'll save that for next time.The food here...music for my taste buds.

I go to Nyack once a month to get my monthly medspa treatments. And I always seek for coffee after. I googled nearby coffee shops and Art Cafe is the top that showed. I gave it a go. I love the vibe and aesthetic of the cafe. I got a dirty Lavender latte and I also tried their salad (can’t recall the name). But anyway, the latte was sooo good! You can taste the blend of the lavender and the coffee. It was sooo rich and smooth together. I definitely recommend this place!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was extremely cute and matched the food. The staff were extremely nice, but they had a more laid back approach to service. I asked for butter for my pancakes and never received it, other people at my table ordered coffee they had to ask for three times. It took a long time for the bill to come out after we asked for it. My advice is to go and adopt the same laid back attitude as the servers. Hand a lantern on it and treat it as part of the vibe of the restaurant.
