★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful in making a good selection. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean and had a nice vibe. My meal was fresh, tasty and the portion was PERFECT! The jollof, shito and grilled lamb is a 10/10!
April 26 · Akia WilliamsFood was very flavorful and the women behind the counter were very helpful explaining all the dishes. Especially enjoyed the Egusi with Fufu. Make sure to try the natural soursop drink and the spinach side dish!!
April 26 · William SchiroI first came to Asantes in 2021 and have never looked back. Food is just so good, everyone is so friendly and as an Asian, I have never felt unwelcome. The fellow customers that come would suggest new things for me to try. It’s just a community. The employees and owner would always try to converse with everyone. It’s such a great place to be. My bestie and I make it a thing to come by every month for a girls lunch. Never ever disappoints. She always gets the oxtail and jollof rice and I will get the fufu and okra stew.
April 26 · Megan FI'm visiting from our of town and am blown away by how good this food is. The service was incredible. Trina you are a queen! Thank you! Everyone is so kind and the oxtail and the Ghanian Jollof was so delicious I was smiling the entire time I was eating it.
September 11 · Tiffany LiI stumbled upon this gem. I've not come across such an African food experience in new jersey than the one I had at this place. The customer service was on par. The food was excellent. I would say it needed a little more spice, but there was such a variety and everything was delicious. Service was great. The inside of the establishment was clean and the presentation was lovely. I would definitely give them a 5 star. Like I said, just needed a little more spice.
