I have picked up from here numerous times over the last 3 years. It used to be a treasure but has gone downhill under the new management.I ordered a pizza 35 minutes before I arrived and went to pick it up. It wasn't ready.. actually, they hadn't even started it and there was no line. The man just goes "we just received it". Okay... Sure you did. Even if true, there was no, can I interest you in anything free of charge or any courtesy. It was an "it will be done in 20 minutes". He proceeded to make some of the pizza and then took a slice and went in the back to eat.. are you kidding me? It's laughable.This isn't the first time this place has been atrociously slow or disrespectful so unfortunately I have to write up a review to say to go elsewhere. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was new management but it's just not the same service and the pizza isn't the same quality as it used to be. I'd recommend elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I had a super weird interaction today at BKLYN Pizza. This has become our regular pizza joint and we have become friendly with some of the staff. Today we walked in to get our regular order which is the lunch special (1 regular slice, 1 pepperoni slice, 3 garlic knots, 2 zeppolis, and a drink). When ordering, we "mistakenly" reminded the staff that the special has 3 garlic knots because that's what the sign says outside. Out of nowhere, whom I believe to be the owner (white, 40s, male), raised his voice at my girlfriend, misgendered her, and said that the special has ALWAYS been 2 garlic knots, not 3. He exclaimed that it was HIS pizza joint and that HE will make rules. We were so taken aback by his response that we left and went to the deli next door.This was very strange because we go to this place all the time. Never have had a bad experience until today. I'll post a pic of the special CLEARLY stating it includes 3 garlic knots when I pass by there this evening.Edit: I went back and took a photo of the sign. THREE KNOTS! This place might be better in person, but I don’t know because the experiences I’ve had with them have been delivery. Horrible wait times for your food to arrive and go ahead and get your oven fired up because it will be lukewarm at best when it arrives. I also live half a mile away from this place so there’s no reason why this pizza should be cold

I recently used the TooGoodToGo app, during my first visit here, an I liked it! TooGoodToGo is an app service, where you basically pay a little money for leftover food from a restaurant, so that it doesn’t go to waste. Anyways I was given their mango habanero slice as well as their chicken bacon slice and a few garlic knots an I thought it was good. I hope you’ll try both if you go there. The person who gave me my food tried to make the atmosphere nice for me too which I appreciated.
