Today was the first time I've tried this place, and I don't think I'll be coming back. I ordered an iced coffee and the chicken club toastie. When I requested no onions on the toastie, I was told that "all the sandwiches are premade' so they couldn't be customized. Okay, that's fine. I asked for the chicken salad toastie instead.The sandwich I received had avocado on it, as described on the menu, but due to either sitting in the fridge too long or being at too cold of a temperature, it had turned an entirely unappetizing shade of gray. And while it might technically have been edible, I could not bring myself to eat it in that state. I went back to the counter and showed them the problem, and here is the confusing part - they offered to make me a fresh one. I thought all of the sandwiches were premade? Apparently not. Well, I couldn't stomach any avocado at this point, still being rather nauseated from the first sandwich, so I asked again for the chicken club, resigning myself to the onions I didn't want in the first place. They did make this one fresh (again, puzzling) but it took more than 15 minutes for 3 people to make one sandwich with no other customers in line at all. It was a decent sandwich, but nothing special.Add on to that the temperature of the place (the a/c felt like it was off entirely), the subpar iced coffee (very sour and over brewed, I threw it out after a few sips) and I don't see any reason I'd want to return here when there are much better options in the area.

I absolutely love the cozy Aussie café vibe here! The banana bread and iced latte were just perfect and really hit the spot. The staff was super friendly, and I appreciated that it wasn’t too noisy upstairs. Just a heads up, though—seating downstairs is a bit limited and fills up quickly, so it’s a good idea to arrive early if you want to enjoy your meal there. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for coffee and a light breakfast!

I’m very disappointed. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and always enjoyed their cappuccinos—until now. Hence, this updated review.I ordered my usual large cappuccino, and as I stood in the back watching it being made, I could tell from the way she was weirdly frothing the milk that it wasn’t going to be any good. Sure enough, the drink was barely lukewarm and had just a faint hint of coffee. I doubt she even used the proper amount of espresso for a large.I brought it back, and she poured half into the steel jar, frothed it again, and put it back into my cup. Still no words—no “sorry,” no “let me fix it,” nothing. When I sipped it again, it was still lukewarm. Overall, just pitiful.I briefly considered bringing it back a second time because it’s disappointing to waste $9, but I didn’t want to deal with people who clearly don’t know how to do their job and have no manners. I ended up tossing it just two blocks away. Not worth the calories if you’re not enjoying it. I won’t be returning.

Only been here a few times but it's been amazing!! Vivi recommended me the strawberry cheesecake matcha and I have never been so obsessed with a drink before! She also recommended the banana toast and it is a super nice balance with my strawberry cheesecake matcha. Will definitely keep coming here! (:
