What is Worth Choosing
When you step into Cafe Patoro, you'll be greeted with a tempting array of options. While the coffee is solid, the true highlight that you simply must try is the Pão de Queijo. These Brazilian cheese breads are a fan favorite, praised for being fresh, perfectly chewy, and savory. They come in various flavors and are a fantastic breakfast snack or quick bite. For those looking for a more substantial meal, the Brazilian-style tapioca crepes with fillings like creamy shredded chicken or three cheeses are a fantastic and authentic choice. The sandwiches, such as the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an English muffin, are also a popular and satisfying option.
On the sweeter side, don’t miss out on their pastries. The Brazilian Carrot Cake with chocolate icing is a beloved traditional dessert. For a more unique treat, the Brigadeiro Croissant—a flaky croissant filled with a rich Brazilian chocolate truffle spread—is a perfect indulgence. The Brazilian Truffles (Brigadeiros) are also a must-try, as they are a traditional and beloved Brazilian sweet. For drinks, while the coffee is good, their specialty lattes, like the Brigadeiro Latte or Dulce de Leche Latte, are a delicious way to experience a taste of Brazil. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the pan de quejio. I can’t say I’ve had an authentic one so I don’t have a good baseline, but on the relative scale of a good breakfast snack- this is up there. They’re fresh and they heat them up for you, and they’re perfectly chewy and savory. The pictures don’t do them justice, just try!Coffee was just OK!
July 16 · LaurenCafe Patoro’s coffee is good, but their pastries are even better. My favorite is the pan de quejio. All the baristas are friendly. I forgot the name of one of the baristas but I remember Eric and Veli.
May 16 · Iara PA lovely Brazilian café with fantastic pastries. The Pão de Queijo is a standout, especially with unique twists like the everything and jalapeño flavors, which add a fun spin to the traditional flavor. Their sweets are also very yum - the almond croissant is buttery without being overly sweet, the cornbread is rich in corn flavor, and the caramelized banana bread is wonderfully moist and soft. Every pastry is a winner here!
October 23 · Bill WangThe food here surprises with every bite! Every team member is genuinely welcoming. Their meals taste uncommonly good. This spot gives a positive impression. I'll be back to this place without question.
August 22 · Jennie RiveraA small and cute cafe near Seaport. I usually walk my pup around the neighborhood and like to stop by this cafe from time to time (my pup also drags me to that cafe so she can pick up some crumbs on the ground). I always pick up a bag of Pao de Queijo. And this time, brought some to work to share with my coworkers which they really enjoyed. My fave is the original but they do have other options like everything bagel seasoning and bacon with cheese. They also have other Brazilian pastries and sandwiches which I have yet to try. Will be back to try their coffee and other pastries. But if you enjoy Brazilian cheese bread, definitely a must try.
