I paid for my order using a brand new, activated gift card my daughter received. I had the activation receipt attached to the back. The owner swiped the card and told me there was no money on it. I explained to him that it had $20, and showed him my receipt. He gave me a very hard time and would not give me my ice cream, which was sitting on the counter. He said I was lying and was very demeaning in front of my daughters, who could not believe I was being treated in such a manner. We have been regulars there for years, and have had several issues with them accepting gift cards. I believe this is some sort of scheme, because they always tell me there's no money on the cards, when I know they are valid and activated, and ask me to pay on cash instead. I refused to do it this time, and he would not release my ice cream. I am insulted, shocked, and furious at the way in which I was treated. This behavior is unacceptable for a local shop worker who wants to keep his business active. Mind you, this was all over $19 worth of ice cream. I will never in my life return to this shop, and I am notifying all of my friends and relatives to stop supporting this business.

My sons birthday was today and he was reallly looking forward to eating ice cream cake but they completely gave us the wrong order.We ordered straw berry crunches in ALL VANILLA ice cream cake but got vanilla and chocolate. my son wanted all vanilla because he doesn’t like chocolate ice cream cake so we ordered all vanilla on his special he was extremely disappointed that he had chocolate ice cream because he did not like it but he handled it like a champ.Although our other experiences here have been good this one not so much would rate 0/10 if I could.

don’t let these bad reviews fool you this place is amazing i been going here for over 7 years never had a messed up order or any leakage in any of the ice cream cones bought by them they have amazing ice cream and with fair prices this is definitely a spot worth going to if you want ice cream especially later in the night

We used to love this carvel until today. Buying an ice cream cake I went through five different cakes to find one without a piece of hair. The girl on the counter tried to convince me that it wasn’t here that it was cardboard. My eyes might not be as great as they were before but I still have 2020 vision and sure some of them maybe cardboard, but not the black pieces that were too fine. Seriously, if somebody tells you that’s HAIR don’t try to tell them it’s not. Im not blind and im not happy with your service. They didn’t even give me any napkins or spoons. One out of 10.
