The Shrimp & Leek Pancake is also highly praised for its crispy texture and flavorful profile, serving as a great starter or side dish for the table. For an exceptionally deep, comforting flavor, the Kimchi Porridge (Kimchi Biji) is a hearty option that utilizes ground soybean pulp, a nod to rustic, traditional Korean cooking.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Happy to be able to walk in and get seating on a Saturday night. Food was overall good. The place makes their own tofu and I loved the one that comes with their basic appetizers. The service was a bit lacking. We had a bit of back and forth with the staff on small things that I feel like detracted from our experience.
January 20 · Christina W.The shrimp and leek pancake is so delicious with the right texture and flavor. The classic Houston’s bibibam is very good but the bulgogi beef is just ok.
March 11 · MaeUpdate: I’m taking off one star. The latest time we went, they didn’t give us small dishes before the main dishes were served. They explained because customers get full on small dishes too soon. Well that’s our business. We can always take our food home. And there were very few small appetizers compared to other places.Update: nice takeout packaging with assortment of appetizersFood tasted really good. Only the service was lackluster. The young lady at the counter just wasn’t nice. She gave me a weird look when I ordered two combos for 3 of us (one was my 90-year-old grandma). She blocked the narrow passageway to the bathroom without moving so I had to squeeze through. And there was no thank you as she scooped up the tips. A bit strange for a family restaurant. Also, definitely order the combo of soup and meat. The galbi by itself was a lot pricier with only a few pieces more. (I had the comparison because we also ordered just the meat to go afterwards.)
November 18 · Fiona HaI’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!
March 31 · Grace LiuCho dang house specializes in Korean dishes using their homemade tofu. The tofu pork belly was amazing and the La Galbi ribeye was also great.
