September 15 · Andriana DiBartolomeoNo frills here (or air conditioning) but the food was good and the place looked clean. For gluten free pupusas you can't go wrong. Give the revueltas (half cheese half meat) a try. Very happy that there's good salvadorian food around. I want to try their traditional breakfast one day.Edit: I just microwaved a pupusa for a minute from a week ago and it's still amazing.
September 12 · Javier HernandezWe have catered from here before and everything has been absolutely great an delicious we defiantly recommend.
June 10 · Something Greek SalesThis business is the DEFINITION of home-grown, good-ole'-classic HOME-COOKING!!Monica and Patricia are a dynamic duo that deliver the most "home away from home" feeling. I had a lovely chat with them. Saw their establishment at a Community Day event, excited to brag about them! Go visit & try them out!
August 04 · Josiah JamesI was getting food next door when I saw Deli Santaneca's 'grand opening' sign. I stopped in and was greeted by Patricia to get a menu. She was incredibly kind and mentioned that they will have physical menus next week. I decided to go the next day to try their pupusas.I walked in and was warmly welcomed by Monica and Patricia. I took my girlfriend here too since she never had this style of food before. They offered all sorts of food that I was not familiar with and Monica did a wonderful job in explaining and helping us decide on what we should try. We were both introduced to tamarind and loroco for the first time, really good! Patricia insisted we try the tamarind drink. It's fantastic, sweet/sour fruit, hard to explain but definitely worth getting. We truly felt welcomed, like family. We tried a bunch of pupusas. Cheese, cheese and pork, cheese and loroco, and cheese, pork and beans. If you have never had loroco before, it tastes similar to spinach. They made all of them fresh, steaming hot and served with curtido (cabbage dish) and a tomato salsa. These were easily the best pupusas I've ever had and my girlfriend enjoyed them tremendously. As we were about to leave, they insisted we try their enchiladas. They were kind enough to send us on our way with a little to go box. That was a incredibly nice gesture, thank you. I tried them even though I was super full already and devoured it. I am used to mexican enchiladas where there is melted cheese in a soft flour tortilla. These enchiladas are different, think flat corn with chicken and the works on top. They had this sweet red sauce on them too, SO GOOD. Definitely worth trying!!TLDR: Genuinely kind friendly people, incredible food. We need more places like this around. Come here for an awesome experience. I will definitely be back!
June 05 · Tom FThe food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish is full of authentic Salvadorian flavor, made fresh and seasoned perfectly. The pupusas were outstanding—crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory inside. Beyond the food, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Salvadorian cuisine with wonderful hospitality, this is the place to go!
October 02 · Karina TiniganayCame in here asking for the first time and asked for Chicharrones de pollo. The woman said she did not have it but to try something similar and gave me pork.No questioning about my allergies or dietary preferences at all. Never coming back.
