My son loves Chinese food. He said the lunch I got from Dragon 89 was amazing.Their pricing is very good: we got to have a soup, pork or vegetables fried rice, and a dish for under ten dollars. My son kept commenting that he thought the lunch was really good and it probably took the chefs a long time to prep. The staff were friendly and worked diligently there.My son loved their shrimp with mix vegetables, shrimp chow mein, chicken with string beans, beef with bean curd (it had mix vegetables too).

My Mei Feng Singapore noodles I got delivered. I never review places, but this is a joke. This was boiled spaghetti with zero flavor and zero meat/veggies. Maybe their other food is good but don't order this.

I feel like quality Chinese food is just a memory in NYC. The food arrived warm and tasteless with no flavor at all. I ordered fried chicken wings, beef lo mein , shrimp fried rice, and scallion pancakes. The only thing that might taste good if I reheat it are the scallion pancakes that arrived oily and soggy. Very disappointing I should have ordered something else. I’m honestly surprised they have higher ratings.

The reviews don’t lie. Solid Chinese food on The Upper West Side. Order online or at the kiosk inside. A couple of small tables if you want to eat in but it’s mostly take out. Dishes come with a nice amount of protein and assorted vegetables. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Love that there’s a good take out so close to my place.

I stopped in for lunch and was greeted right away by Cindy — she was incredible. I ordered soup, but then noticed they had lunch specials (even on weekends, which is rare). I mentioned it, and she kindly let me switch and just pay the difference.I’m on a specific diet, and she was beyond accommodating. The food came out fast, was delicious, and she checked in a few times to make sure I had everything I needed.If you’re in the area, this should absolutely be your go-to spot.
