★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been coming to this place for years and I’m sorry I’m just coming around to writing a review. It has been a favorite in the neighborhood ever since I moved here in 2020.My most recent experience was on a Friday night. My partner and I were able to walk right in and I couldn’t believe it was empty. I do, however, get this as takeout more regularly than I do go and sit down. We were greeted immediately and we had our pick of seats. The staff quickly brought water and took our order as soon as we were ready.First off, the dry aged beef potstickers are the absolute best I’ve had without a doubt. Juicy, tasty, perfectly crispy on the outside. If you get nothing else, get these. We also had the Shanghai Belly noodles which were outstanding. The “worst” thing we had was a chicken bun, which was really good but couldn’t compete with the other things.Overall, if you’re in the neighborhood please checkout this place for a quick snack or a delicious Chinese meal!
December 24 · April IngenitoEast Wind Snack Shop is definitely a destination in Brooklyn. I had the best vegetable dumplings I have ever eaten in my life there. The har gao dumplings were also amazing. The vegetable noodles and the spring rolls were so delicious. I highly recommend East Wind if you are ever in New York.
August 02 · Marilyn NegronI had great expectations for this place seeing that it may be the best dumplings but it was so disappointing. It smelled delicious as they were cooking inside and I love dumplings but these were just ... ok. Super pricey for the amount of food you are getting, too. Their bubble tea was not great neither...
March 09 · Kelly CReally simple and unassuming but the food is fantastic. The dumpling skins are chewy, crispy in parts and really thin. The pork juicy dumplings aren't exactly soup dumplings, but be careful on the bites anyway. The vegetable dumplings are really tasty and the little crispiness they add on top is so extra. This is a place to come back to again and again.
October 31 · David WiczerGood dumpling place. Taste was pretty good. They do have vegan option. Sitting is very limited. There is only 1 table with 2 chairs outside. Price is slightly higher than what I think it should be but considering the location, I think it is fair.
