Its menu is designed for a Quick bite, featuring hearty Hot Plates like Chicken Over Rice and Lamb Over Rice, alongside classic options such as Hot Dog and Cheeseburger Soda & Chips combos. It serves as an indispensable amenity next to the park’s popular boat and bike rental facilities, cementing its status as a vital part of the Flushing Meadows experience.
Location and Accessibility
The Ederle Terrace Cafe is found at 14 Ederle Promenade, Flushing, NY 11367, USA. Its prime location directly on the Ederle Promenade means it is immediately adjacent to the waterfront of Meadow Lake. This location makes it a natural gathering point for those enjoying the park's various outdoor activities, including the nearby boat and bike rental shops.
Physical accessibility at the park venue involves a few nuances. Officially, the cafe maintains a Wheelchair accessible entrance from the promenade, ensuring compliance for all guests. The venue also benefits from convenient On-site parking, a valuable amenity for any destination in Queens. Furthermore, the establishment offers a clean Restroom facility nearby, enhancing visitor comfort. However, local feedback suggests that while the service area is accessible, the primary lakeside seating—situated on the raised terrace overlooking the lake—may involve a flight of steps, which may be challenging for those with strollers or mobility limitations, suggesting that patrons should be prepared for potential variations in physical access to the most scenic picnic tables.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This little snack bar is located on the Ederle promenade overlooking Flushing Meadow Lake in Flushing Meadow Park. Next to it is the boat and bike rental shop. The best thing going for this snack bar is the view. The snack bar is situated on top of the promenade; up a flight of steps and not handicap or stroller friendly. They have four or five picnic tables were you can sit and eat while watching the lake. On a nice day, it's actually a great spot to hang out.Unfortunately, the food is a hit or miss. Not to mention that the prices are on the higher end. They offer some hot food items like burgers, hot dogs, empanadas, and chicken wings. Sometimes the food is good but other times it's greasy and salty. Luckily, they also sell a variety of ice cream, popsicles, and other frozen treats. On a hot summer day it's the perfect thing to get after walking the park. Strangely enough, they also serve wine and beer. The staff has always been very friendly here. Not sure about their hours though. Sometimes they stay open as late as 7pm and sometimes not. The hours aren't posted anywhere and when you ask they often give you a vague answer.
October 18 · AmeliaPlace was nice and peaceful for get together they even had carts you could rent put so kids could enjoy themselves you could play music with a day pass and they had clown doing magic tricks for kids but I think they had to rent it it was so fun and the bathroom was near by not far at all.Grest experience 😁 oh and they even let you borrow as many chairs and tables how cool is that
August 24 · yolanda davilaSweet lake side cantina with sodas, snacks and a limited cocktail menu. $10 margaritas, Pina coladas, and sangria, micheladas. Good pours. No inside dining, only terrace picnic benches over looking the lake, which is lovely. About a 20 min walk from Citi Field
July 10 · Laura Lee EverettI came here to buy ice cream and had the most amazing experience of my life. A cafe with a view, there is a wonderful selection of both fresh and packaged snacks, and a great variety of ice cream, including my personal favorite, the Sonicsicle. The music is undoubtedly the highlight, with such amazing trap remixes as "Empire State of Mind (Trap Remix)" and "Uptown Funk (Trap Remix)". I cannot recommend this enough. Come now
May 13 · T RyanThis would be a wonderful place to sit if this Cafe would stop blasting their music.
