August 10 · Nadia Bastos FacciollaDined here on a Sunday early afternoon. We got chicken with mole poblano and grilled zucchini flower taco and both were fantastic. The mole had such depth of flavor so we scraped the dish clean 😂 The service was also professional and friendly too. Would love to come back to try their other dishes too.
January 12 · Kiyeon YoonEl Mero Mero is the best! They never disappoint. My family and I are from Mexico and this is authentic as it gets.Even my Colombian husband loves this place and my mother in law who is a very picky eater. The costillas en verdolagas, the enchiladas, and rajas are all delicious. The drinks are absolutely delicious too!The tamarind margarita, and hibiscus margarita are the best we have ever tried (and we’ve had margaritas in Mexico). The staff is also attentive, genuine, and very professional. They always make you feel very welcomed. My family and I moved to NJ but we still travel to Queens just for El Mero Mero because the food and drinks are that good! This place is our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of NY and NJ. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. If there’s one restaurant you have to try at least once in your life it’s El Mero Mero.
January 24 · Silvia CastilloStart off with the pulpo a la plancha as your appetizer and then finish off with their entraña a la parrilla and thank me later!!! This place absolutely NEVER disappoints!!!
July 21 · Cindy HuescaI recently visited Mero Mero to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I am Mexican from Morelos and I can confidently say the food was incredibly authentic—full of rich flavors that reminded me of home. The live music added a festive touch, and their signature drink, also called “Mero Mero,” was the perfect complement to our meal. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel special, even letting her wear the mariachi sombrero for her birthday photo. We left with full bellies and big smiles. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for genuine Mexican cuisine and a fun, welcoming atmosphere!
