★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a very disappointing experience at Farzi. Even after making a reservation, we were made to wait for 30 minutes before being seated. To make matters worse the host was very disorganized and seated guests who arrived after us first. When we finally spoke to the manager, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience—we were simply told our reservation had been changed. The only saving grace was the food—it was served quickly and tasted really good. But honestly, the poor service overshadowed it all. Not happy with the experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for good hospitality.
September 13 · Megha SariyaThe food was absolutely exceptional—authentic North Indian flavors at their finest. The Dal Makhni, in particular, was unforgettable. Everything was so perfect that we felt compelled to call the chef over and personally compliment him. Farzi NYC is a must-visit for anyone craving truly great Indian cuisine in the city. Despite the abundance of Indian restaurants in NYC, very few get it right like this place does. It’s definitely going to be at the top of my list. Thank you to the entire Farzi NYC team for the phenomenal food, service, and ambiance!
July 12 · Dobriyal PoornimaI’ve lived in NYC for 13 years and have never had such creative, delicious Indian food. This restaurant has risen to the top of my favorites list. Everything was perfect - the drinks, the food presentation, the staff. We’ll be coming back soon!
May 30 · Angie RamirezWe actively seek out restaurants that have unique food, experiences, and atmosphere. This one checked all of the boxes. Everything was special and memorable. Amit came and checked with us at our table and we were happy to share how delighted we were with everything from food, drinks, presentation and the stories that accompanied everything. I highly recommend this restaurant.
May 27 · Mohit GovaniGreat service and very good food! Plenty of vegetarian options. We loved the layered potatoes, and dal chawal arancini appetizers. The dal makhani, mushroom, and paneer kebab main courses were all fantastic. Drinks are amazing too! Most of the dishes come with a flair which was a fun element.
