★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wow! An unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance was warm, elegant, and welcoming — the perfect setting to enjoy such high-quality cuisine. The chef’s passion and artistry truly shine through every dish; the presentation was meticulous, and each bite was bursting with balanced, refined flavors. The fish was unbelievably fresh, flown in directly from Japan, and you can taste the difference in every piece. On top of that, the staff was not only attentive but genuinely friendly and generous, which made the evening even more special. This is a place that leaves you in awe — where quality, flavor, and hospitality come together seamlessly. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it wholeheartedly!
September 13 · paula hernandeztrue authentic omakase, no overpowering ingredients like truffle or caviar which allows you to taste the freshness of the fish that came straight from Japan. Definitely worth the price.
September 01 · haylVery mediocre pieces and experience for the price. Sushi pieces were plain or had cheap garnishes like tomato or kiwi - no uni or caviar garnishes. For $98 pp it’s not worth the price - you can find better omakase priced at $55-69 in the area
August 11 · Lydia LiI had an amazing experience at MatsunoriThe fish was so fresh, flavorful, melted in my mouth, and nigiri were very creative ,the pink rice is mix with Dragon fruit therefore has the natural sweetness and go very well with the fish .Steven and Johnny are very friendly and knowledgeable. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean. Definitely a great place for sushi lovers! Will be back soon. 🍣
April 11 · Whitney XuI thought it was pretty good. It’s more of a creative omakase rather than traditional Japanese style so if you’re looking for something classic this might not be the place. But if you’re into fusion it’s definitely worth a visit. I remember the sushi chef who served us was from Taiwan and he was really friendly with great service. Five stars and I would come back next time I’m in New York.
