★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This review is for the portion. My husband stopped by this place to try it out and I had him order me an eel bowl. When he got home I was so disappointed on how SMALL this bowl is for $20!! I understand that eel can be pricey but you could at least give more rice and/or pickled sides. The bowl is the size of my hand and I’m only 5 ft and 110 lbs… my hand is small. Based on that, we won’t order from here again. The bowl is nothing special. I’ve had better and for less than what this place robs you for.
May 30 · J C R, MDThe kimbap here used to be great: good flavor, packed with ingredients. But recently they've been significantly skimping on the proteins. Foodside, I would much rather pay more for a satisfying meal than pay existing prices for something less-than-satisfying. Please reconsider!
August 24 · k sA little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. Everything is fresh and homemade. The people here are always so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, tasty Korean food!
September 06 · K.K. DorjiAn under the radar, unassuming takeout spot that I've always passed by but decided to do a pickup order today and to my surprise the quality of this place is amazing. I ordered the Chicken teriyaki bowl and bulgogi bibimbap and the taste was parallel to a sit down restaurant with delicious savory flavors, fresh crunchy vegetables throughout as well as being a more than satisfying portion. Love that there is stuff to order as well as having food and drinks to go. Also tried out the Boba which was noticeably cheaper than the ones in the immediate area. I had a tasty Taro Boba that wasn't too-too sweet(compliment) but with sub par Boba pearls that could've been fresher.Overall for a spot right outside woodside train station this is sure to be my new staple go to for some genuinely tasty and delicious food!
May 08 · RayThis takeout spot is near woodside station (no space for dine in).The place looked pretty clean and has the open kitchen style. The bibimbap was made to order( I called ahead). The vegetable were fresh and crunchy. It for sure tasted better than the ones at the grocery stores. You can also order online. Overall, fresh food but little pricey for the area.
