Sometimes they’ll have live music toward the front that can be a bit too loud for the downstairs space but not unbearable. They offer a 10% discount to the residents of The James apartment buildings they’re attached to where I just recently moved. Overall a great experience, especially for cocktails and appetizers.

I recently did an event at four leaves and Anne Marie was so attentive and all of my guests couldn’t stop saying how beautiful the restaurant is. On top of that the food and drinks were an absolute hit!! I highly recommend if you haven’t been here yet. It’s such a great spot in Bergen county all around.
January 23 · Bleranda SpahiuFirst and last timeService - My wife ordered veggie wrap with chicken, side salad dressing with dressing on the side. Salad came out with dressing on salad. Wrap came out without chicken. PS she licked the wrap but there were hardly any veggies. That may be the way they make it. I think it was either $18 or $19. It wasn’t worth it.Food quality - I ordered Caesar salad and their signature burger medium rare. Server asked if I wanted fries or a salad or fries. Odd right, server didn’t listen. Salad was really good. Burger came out rare. I sent it back without asking for anything else.Last note: asked server what CAB stood for on the menu, he said he’d check but never did. When he brought our drinks I asked again and he said he didn’t ask yet. PS he never came back to tell us.Atmosphere: I loved the layout and design selections. But the acoustics are terrible. Sounds bouncing around everywhere.Closing- I really wanted to like this place.To the owners I hope the feedback helps. On your 4 key elements of a dining experience, in my judgement you failed on 3.
June 25 · Rick LiebermanUpon arriving at 4:30pm on Saturday, there were some tables with people and the bar was lively. Plenty of tables and space to eat. We were a party of 3 and when we walked in, were immediately asked if we had a reservation. We did not. The hostess acts as though it is mission impossible to seat us, made some comments about how packed they were (they absolutely not) and that she (dramatically said) “wasn’t sure if she could get us a table.” She sat us within 2 minutes. So wth was with her attitude and all the fuss?! That was our only complaint, but first impressions say a lot.Our waitress Norma was lovely, personable and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. We enjoyed our meals. I had the sea bass special and it was very good but needed salt- it had way too much garlic. My friends had the butternut squash soup, one felt it was too salty, the other felt it was perfectly fine. Ambiance and esthetic of the place is really nice.Get a nicer, more personable hostess- that is my only recommendation.

Today we requested outdoor seating since we had two young kids with us and they opened it up for us with a smile! There was also an issue with a giftcard we were gifted and the manager took care of it for us. Amazing customer service and delicious food! Thank you, we appreciate it and always recommend Four Leaves!
