Nestled in the heart of a vibrant Brooklyn community, this Chinese restaurant provides an extensive menu built around the classic flavors that New Yorkers know and love. While the dining experience may be more geared toward fast service and takeout efficiency, its vast selection and attractive pricing make it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal, whether it's a quick lunch or a late-night dinner.
Fu Lai Kitchen's culinary focus is unapologetically on traditional Chinese-American dishes, covering everything from appetizers and soups to main courses featuring chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. Diners can expect the full spectrum of familiar favorites, ensuring there’s something to satisfy nearly any craving for classic Chinese comfort food.
One of the most notable aspects of the restaurant is its commitment to accessibility and speed. In a city that moves as fast as New York, having a dependable source for quick pickup or delivery is essential, and Fu Lai Kitchen has positioned itself as just that—a consistent option for those seeking a quick and satisfying meal on the go.
The business has also seen mentions of a former name, "Lin's Garden," suggesting a long-standing presence in the community, providing the kind of dependable service that turns first-time customers into neighborhood regulars.
There have been a few scattered mentions regarding inconsistencies or issues related to customer service and menu representation, particularly an instance where the restaurant was mistakenly associated with a Thai cuisine offering. However, the majority of the publicly available data strongly points to the restaurant's primary and dedicated cuisine being Chinese, which is important for new customers to understand when placing an order. The overall consensus from many long-time patrons often highlights the quick service, good prices, and the sheer convenience of the establishment as its main advantages.
As an anchor for Chinese takeout in its neighborhood, Fu Lai Kitchen remains a highly visible and frequently used local establishment.

Fu Lai Kitchen Reviews
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. They have late hours. I ordered the wonton soup, an appetizer combination which included two egg rolls, six fried wontons and two jumbo shrimp, young chow fried rice and chicken chow fun. The food is average in taste and flavor.
August 14 · Steven NechamkinThis place is a fraud. I called the yummy Thai -2 restaurant on line but phone number went to this place. They lied because they said they were Thai but they only have Chinese food. Rather than simply tell me they are a Chinese restaurant took the order for Thai food pretending they could pass it off. They are dishonest and the Chinese food is very bad
September 28 · John PellitteriI will never order from here again, the delivery guy is very obnoxious and disrespectful also he bangs on my door and has no patience he is very rude. Also I always give a $5 tip and he wants more. Not only that the they make a lot of mistakes with the orders and a lot of times the food is has an old taste..The guy who takes the orders over the phone is extremely rude!! I called and made a complaint about the delivery guy to the restaurant. They just act as if they don’t hear me. but that’s fine they lost a good customer. I will look for a better place to order. I don’t know how they run their business being rude like that. It’s terrible.
