Grab NGo Introduce
## Introduction / Overview: Grab NGo, An Essential Airport Lifeline
For New Jersey residents and out-of-state travelers moving through the busy corridors of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the need for a quick, reliable source of provisions is paramount. **Grab NGo** is a fundamental **meal takeaway** and convenience retail location designed specifically to meet this demand. Situated within the secure terminal areas, its entire operational model is centered on providing travelers with essential items, snacks, and ready-made meals that can be purchased in the shortest time possible.
As the name suggests, Grab NGo specializes in an assortment of pre-packaged sandwiches, fresh salads, a variety of chips and confectionery, and essential travel beverages. This concept allows passengers, especially those with tight connections or minimal time before boarding, to quickly select and pay for their items without the wait associated with sit-down restaurants or made-to-order counters. It functions as an indispensable convenience hub, ensuring that no traveler goes without a critical snack or drink for their flight.
However, it is crucial for local users to set proper expectations when visiting any airport concession. The primary value of Grab NGo is its location and speed. As publicly documented, while the convenience is necessary, the pricing structure for items like bottled water, candy, and pre-packaged foods at airport retail spaces is notoriously high, which has led to customer feedback describing the prices as "obnoxious and insane." Furthermore, customer experience can vary greatly, with some reviews pointing to isolated incidents of unbelievably rude employee conduct and checkout confusion, suggesting that while the service model is fast, the customer service experience can be inconsistent and frustrating.
## Location and Accessibility
Grab NGo is strategically located within the post-security areas of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), making it accessible only to ticketed travelers. The convenience store concept is vital for the tens of thousands of passengers who pass through EWR daily, ensuring they have access to essential goods after clearing security.
Address: Newark, NJ 07114
More detailed location information available publicly pinpoints a specific Grab NGo, or a similar concept, within **Terminal B, specifically near Gates B51 - B57** (Concourse B2). This area is deep within the terminal, placing the amenity exactly where it is needed—right by the departure gates. Travelers utilizing United, JetBlue, and other major airlines operating out of this terminal will find this spot essential.
The location's accessibility is excellent for travelers in transit, but its placement post-security means it is not available to the general public or those awaiting arriving passengers. Its operating hours are typically very long to cover the airport's flight schedule, generally listed as **Open Daily from 5:00 AM until the Last Flight**, ensuring service for both early morning and late-night departures.
## Services Offered
The core business model of Grab NGo is predicated on fast, self-service retail and prepared meal takeaway, catering to immediate travel needs. The selection is focused on high-demand essentials that are portable and can be consumed quickly or onboard a flight.
- **Pre-Packaged Meals:** Offers a selection of prepared, ready-to-eat items, including **pre-packaged sandwiches** and **salads**, providing a quick alternative to made-to-order dining.
- **Snacks and Confectionery:** A wide array of chips, candy (such as M&M's and Mentos mentioned in public feedback), granola bars, and other travel snacks are readily available on shelves.
- **Beverages:** Provides essential hydration and refreshment, including **bottled water**, sodas, juices, and other non-alcoholic drinks. Some locations may offer coffee or tea services.
- **Travel Essentials:** Stocks last-minute non-food items commonly forgotten by travelers, such as newspapers, books, magazines, and possibly small electronics or health and beauty products.
- **Grab & Go Model:** The entire operation is structured for speed, relying on an open display, easy self-selection, and multiple checkout options to minimize queue times.
- **Self-Checkout Capability:** To further expedite the process, some locations, as evidenced by customer reviews, utilize **self-checkout stations** which allow customers to scan and pay for their items quickly.
## Features / Highlights
Grab NGo's main features are defined by its function as a high-speed, last-chance retail outlet for traveling passengers.
- **Ultimate Convenience:** Its primary highlight is its placement directly near the departure gates (e.g., Gates B51-B57), providing the last opportunity for travelers to stock up on food, drinks, and essential comfort items before boarding.
- **Speed and Efficiency:** The pre-packaged, self-serve nature of the products, combined with the self-checkout system, ensures one of the fastest transaction times available in the airport terminal.
- **Wide-Ranging Assortment:** The store covers a necessary spectrum of travel needs, from light, healthy snacks (salads) to indulgent treats (candy) and essential drinks (bottled water).
- **Extended Operating Hours:** Operating from early morning until the last flight, the store is a reliable source of provisions regardless of a traveler's flight schedule.
- **Necessity Item Provider:** The presence of bottled water, which is a critical item post-security, along with travel-sized accessories, makes it a highly valuable resource for unprepared or time-crunched flyers.
## Contact Information
As a critical concession at Newark Liberty International Airport, official airport resources are the primary contact points for general inquiries.
Address: Newark, NJ 07114 (Located within EWR, typically Terminal B, Post-Security)
Phone: No single public customer service phone line is consistently listed across all EWR Grab NGo locations, as they are managed by larger airport retail operators. For specific inquiries regarding the Terminal B location near Gates B51-B57, travelers may attempt to contact the general information desk for that terminal.
## What is Worth Choosing: Necessary Convenience Despite Price and Service Risks
For New Jersey travelers at EWR, choosing Grab NGo is a decision based purely on **necessary convenience and speed**. When a flight is boarding and there is no time to wait for a custom-made meal or a restaurant check, the ability to "grab and go" is invaluable. This store is essential for quickly acquiring non-negotiable items like bottled water, a bag of chips, or a simple pre-made sandwich that can sustain a traveler during the flight.
However, local users should visit with their eyes wide open regarding the experience. Public feedback clearly indicates that customers should expect **exceptionally high prices**—a common characteristic of all airport convenience retail. A simple water bottle and a couple of candies could result in a surprisingly large bill. Furthermore, to avoid potential friction, travelers should utilize the self-checkout efficiently and confirm all items have been scanned and paid for, as confusion over transactions and reports of rude staff interaction have been documented by previous patrons, tarnishing the overall experience. In short, Grab NGo is the essential choice when **time is the most critical factor**, offering a fast, though potentially costly and sometimes frustrating, lifeline within the airport environment.

Staff unbelievably rude at 5pm on August 31st, forced me to self checkout after I asked her to take the water bottle off my bill because it was literally 10 dollars, so I didnt want to buy it - then when I went to the self checkout and rang myself up (bag of m&ms and a mentos) ad she accused me of not paying for the mentos I was buying when I very obviously had scanned and tapped my card - regardless, prices absolutely obnoxious and insane, go anywhere else
September 01 · Emily FeathermanEmployee here at 5pm on August 31 was unbelievably rude - when she told me a water , m&ms with mentos were going to be 20 dollars I asked her to take the water off and she refused, made me ring it all up at at different register, then after I paid for everything told me I “had not paid” for the mentos though I clearly scanned them - the prices at this stand are obnoxious and evil but the woman working there was also on a whole other level of rude
August 31 · Emily FeathermanI'd heard Americans are rude and yep, staff here are just that.Wanted to get a napkin for my nose before i got something. As my hand moved towards the napkin bin the female worker there that was standing around talking to someone, took the napkin bin away as I was trying to take a napkin.I said I just needed a napkin. She shook her head and said no. I said I just need a tissue as I wasn't feeling well, guy told me to go to the washroom. Wow.Food here doesn't look good or fresh. If mgmt is concerned about people taking napkins, maybe focus on your staff that stand around talking and being on their phone
August 04 · Jennifer HoStaff is recist. The line was self checkout. He asked guy behind me that he can help him. I asked him for help to check out my stuff and he denied. Everybody near me was shocked by his behavior.
December 05 · Harshil PatelNo palatable options. Surely they can find a way to make or sell better food. Don’t go through security in Newark Terminal B51-57 without bringing or pre-purchasing food since there are no options.
