★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nice restaurant with lovely atmosphere and really great service. Food was good but nothing outstanding. Specials appetizer was stuffed figs. They were good but a little one note. Tuna tartare was very good as were the risotto tots. The lobster and shrimp pappardelle was underwhelming. The lobster bits were very small and overcooked. The restaurant was surprisingly not crowded for a Friday evening.
August 21 · Kathy DWorst service I've ever had, I ordered the salmon with Caesar salad and they gave me chicken so I kindly sent it back only to receive raw salmon. They gave us a free dessert fine still wasn't good. We asked them to split a check into 3 separate ways very kindly. And was charged for double salmon after they said they will just charge me for the chicken since the salmon was raw. We were very patient but the wait staff and manager were not and were very rude. Not going here again.
May 31 · sammy TitoFirst and last time for me. Nice ambiance however the food & service is just ok. Crab cakes lacked flavor and couldn’t even flag down a staff member for a slice of lemon or salt and pepper. House salad was also bland and nothing special.$42 Filet mignon steak special tasted like propane gas covered in another bland sauce. Couldn’t even find our waiter to discuss. Sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini were good. Not one to make a stink I left most of the filet.Too many other great restaurants in the area to settle for sub par food and service.
June 08 · Miss MissI can see why this place gets a bad rep and is a complete ghost town on a Saturday night: you have to know which dishes to order and which to steer clear of. For example, the Brussel sprout salad, crispy artichokes and penne vodka are fresh, innovative, and delicious. However, sea bass and lobster and shrimp risotto were bland, boring, and downright fishy. Honestly, I felt a little queasy after eating my entree, and it’s not because my pants were too tight. If Harvest doesn’t step up their game soon, their popular neighboring competitors are going to run them into the ground.xoxo foodie girl
April 27 · Foodie GirlWhere do I start?? Alright. This is the BEST restaurant in CT. No debate!! When I say "ON POINT" food, service, drinks, ambience, total experience; I'm just scratching the surface with how good this place is. The restaurant manager's name is Roberto, & he's truly Italian. What that means is, your whole evening's experience will feel like you're in a classy movie, at a fine restaurant. Which is exactly what is is: A fine, fancy, classy restaurant. The Italian accent is off the chain. Amazing!! He even uses Italian words at times. Totally accents the whole experience. It was my wife's birthday celebration, & the setting was THE perfect one for s romantic evening. Rose petals sprinkled on the table, wine chiller by the table, personal waiter with towel over his arm, candle light, everything romantic. But, the FOOD!! Oh......ma.....God!!! I would score it as a perfect 100 out of 10...if you get my point. I had salmon & my wife has Filet mignon. Can I just tell you: Never before have I ever tasted beef cooked to such perfection. Yes, I had some of my wife's food. She was gloating about how great it was, so I had to try it myself. I nearly fainted. As for my salmon: We had just gone to Olive Gardens the Thursday before, & I hated the salmon. It was half cooked, half raw; too chunky, too bland. Not at harvest. At this restaurant, my salmon was JUICY, well cooked all the way through, with a nice crispy, crunchy finish, though marinated in whatever the hell that amazing sauce was, cover with diced beets (& I'm not a beets person. But this...), on a bed of sliced carrots & potatoes, with watercress leaves on the top. Oh my God!! I'm salivating as I type. It was an experience that I HAVE TO relive.
November 26 · Anthony DavisHorrible management/ownership. I made a reservation for my brother's birthday – got a confirmation email and everything. We show up to our reservation yesterday and the place is closed and gutted out for renovations. There is nothing online that they are closed. Poor management on their part.
