★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A decent spot for a meal.It seems like this is a place where you go to drink and eat (more emphasis on drink). We didn't have any drinks but still tried the food.My main complaint was the high prices for mid-quality food (these three items came up to $80).The truffle parmesan fries were a bit of a let down. Although there was a coating of parmesan and truffle, I didn't get a full and rich taste. The flavor was too subtle. And the sauce didn't have much flavor too. Also, a portion of the fries were a little too overcooked. The cream udon was excellent. The creamy sauce had a nice consistency and flavor. The noodles had a great texture and the added seafood was delicious. The short rib was decent but nothing special. The service was good. The place was clean, but dark and loud with music.Would recommend if you're looking for a spot to party and eat decent food.
May 04 · Tommy WuI randomly picked this spot after getting a haircut nearby and wow, I was genuinely surprised by how good the food was! Highly recommend the grilled corn, pork belly, and LA galbi!! Service was quick and friendly, and the dishes came out fast. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their soups next time!
July 10 · Carmi HuangHighly recommend! The environment of the restaurant is vibe and food is great. Price is about the right price and the amount of the food is enough for people to get full. The service is also good. Again, recommend for people come to try!
May 18 · wang kimiI visited Hongdae Korean Restaurant in Flushing, NY around 3:20 in the morning, and it ended up being one of the best late-night dining experiences I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Kevin, really stood out — he was attentive, friendly, and had such great energy that made the whole experience even better. We ordered the combo wings that come with a bottle for $59, and it was absolutely worth it. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — definitely a highlight of the night. Pairing it with the bottle made it feel like a complete experience, perfect for late-night eats with friends. The food came out quickly, but the speed didn’t take away from the quality at all. Everything was fresh, hot, and well-prepared. As a chef, I really appreciate when a kitchen can deliver both speed and quality, especially at such late hours. You can tell they take pride in their food no matter the time of day.Overall, Hongdae in Flushing exceeded my expectations. Great food, generous portions, late-night availability, and incredible service from Kevin made this spot a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone looking for a late-night spot in New York that doesn’t compromise on quality.
August 23 · Eon HenryOverall, the food was tasty, the grilled chicken feet was a bit too spicy for some people. The portion was pretty satisfying. The only thing is that they included taxes in the total but didn't indicate that on the bill, so I calculated the tips based on the total, which means I gave extra tips…
