First I wanna say this location used to be on of my favorite locations they cook the food well and the waitresses are amazing. I’ve come here since I was a kid and watch the train they have up go around. But today is the last time I’d come here. Saw the biggest roach. I quickly and quietly let someone know and they killed it. But I just couldn’t stomach staying to eat the food. I feel nauseous that I even had some of our appetizer. They let us leave didn’t charge us.

On last day of Spring break morning, my daughter and I decided to go to IHOP for pancakes. When we arrived around 11am, the place was packed, seemed half of NJ showed up on Good Friday. We waited about 25 minutes to get our table.I liked the setup of this restaurant. The booths were in a glass roof space with bright sunlight and plenty of flowers all around. There’s menu changed a lot since I was in IHOP last time, years ago. I found lot more interesting items like variety of omelettes, pancakes, tacos, burritos, sandwiches and burgers.We started with the blueberry and pineapple lemonades. Both drinks were okay. My daughter got the junior cupcake pancake that had sprinkles and whip cream on top. It was a soft tasty pancake. I got the cheeseburger omelette. I was pleasantly surprised how well the omelette came out to be. The cheeseburger paddy was shredded and put in both inside and above the omelette. I loved the firmnesses and taste of the whole omelette. Was super happy with the dish.We had a wonderful service. Our server was very apologetic and helpful. She checked on us multiple times and fulfilled all our requests promptly. I also found out kids can eat for free after 4pm here. More reasons for it to be a really popular spot among locals.

We buy regularly from this particular one until we find another one nearby. And I heard him order my meat tips WELL DONE! He brings home very hot food but I wasnt able to smell it. Unbelievable Right?? Well.....I cut the tip and BLOOD came rushing out! The Manager was very Professional but we will never order from this one again. The chef is hard headed and cooks food the way he or she likes it. Now I could throw up! The looks of this made me sick. All blood from only 5 pieces of meat at that was at the bottom. I just tried to upload a photo for you guys to see.

I came in with my family and had the worst experience of my life mind you it wasn’t the first time coming to this ihop. Half way through my food, I saw the biggest cockroach next to my table dead. I showed the waiter and she immediately apologized and brought the manager over. The manager didn’t seem very surprised and just said how they come from outside and that they were water roaches. Insinuating I should be ok with it. She then Proceeded to offer me more food or a change of table. Of course I said no! Like who would order more food after seeing what I saw. Without a care in the world she then said Oh I will just give you a first responders 25% discount. My son and I weren’t able to finish our food and this is what she offered. To top things off Im currently pregnant and have been nauseous with no appetite since.She definitely shouldn’t be a manager without knowing how to handle these types of situations. I’m not sure what was going through my head at that moment that i ended up paying, maybe it was my urge to get out of that place. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR DONT EAT AT THIS PLACE!!!

TIP HEAVY! Love the overhead train. The owner is such a cool guy. I came for a good atmosphere to start the day. Worth the trip from the Bronx NY.
