## What is Worth Choosing
Choosing a dish at Jin Jin Hong Kong Cafe can be a delightful challenge due to the expansive menu, but a few items stand out for an authentic and satisfying experience, especially for those new to the Cha Chaan Teng concept.
You absolutely must try one of the Baked Rice dishes. This is a cornerstone of Hong Kong-style Western food—rice topped with meat (like a Pork Chop or Chicken Leg) and a sauce (often a tomato or cream sauce) and baked with a generous layer of cheese until bubbly. It's the ultimate comfort food and a dish that truly defines the cafe’s specialty. Pair it with an order of the Wonton Soup or, for the more adventurous, the classic Bortsch Soup, which is the Hong Kong-adapted version of the Eastern European stew, reflecting the fusion of culinary influences.
For those looking for a lighter or classic Cantonese experience, the Roast Meats are highly recommended. A combination plate of their crisp-skinned Roast Duck or succulent Roast Pork is a fantastic choice. And no visit to a Hong Kong cafe is complete without a signature beverage. Ditch the typical soda and instead opt for the rich and smooth H.K. Style Tea W. Milk (often called “silk stocking milk tea”) or one of their refreshing, fruit-based Fresh Juices or unique Smoothies like the Honey Dew Melon or Taro Milk Shake.
With large portions, fresh ingredients, and a menu that effortlessly combines the best of Chinese and Western flavors, Jin Jin Hong Kong Cafe offers a truly unique and enjoyable dining experience for the New York food lover. Stop by for lunch or dinner and you’ll quickly understand why this neighborhood gem is so popular among locals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Always passed by this spot but never gave it a chance until today! We ordered the wonton and roast pork soup with instant noodles and the chicken leg baked rice with tomato sauce. The portions here are huge and it definitely kept us full for a while. The food came out piping hot and fresh and it was so nice on a cold January day. Highly recommend this spot for delicious food for a budget friendly value! The vibes in here were super chill and cozy. They also gave fortune cookies which I love opening after a meal! We will definitely be coming back here soon.
January 15 · Wisely ChangThis spot has figured out the secret to dining bliss. Personnel excelled, being pleasant and consistently checking if we needed anything. I noticed the tasteful decor and spotless surfaces. The plate presentation showed off vibrant, flavorful food. This restaurant delivers complete satisfaction.
September 26 · Caro GeffroyI've been here so many times, and it's been a great experience each time. The food's especially fantastic here, last time I went with a friend we got the Singapore Mei Fun (vegetables only) and Sweet Potato Tempura rolls as entrees. Both tasted absolutely amazing. We also got the steamed vegetable gyoza and scallion pancakes as appetizers, which I also recommend getting. The prices are also surprisingly good, we didn't end up paying that much despite how much we ordered. The restaurant also has such a great atmosphere. Is it perfect? Of course not. But there's a reason it's one of the only restaurants I consistently eat at. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
August 08 · Vernon D.Reasonable price. Duck noodle soup was delicious, fried rice was great, but chicken chow fun was very greasy and salty, and lemongrass chicken was not authentic, would not recommend this dish. typical Chinese service, but they offer sliced orange as dessert at the end. Saw some good reviews, so I'll come back to try other stuff.
April 14 · Happy FruitI use to live around this establishment and was very fond of making orders from here. I love there fried chicken and there salt and pepper pork chops. To me I feel as it’s a step up from your ordinary Chinese food restaurant. On a few occasions I even sat in and dined here, just make sure your there before the evening rush or you’ll have wait a few to be seated.
