★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a non-Latino, non-Spanish speaking minority, I often find that my appearance leads others to assume I am Latino. While I do understand and can use a few Spanish phrases, I am not fluent, and this can sometimes create a barrier in communication.I've noticed during my visits that the majority of the customer base is Spanish-speaking, which is completely understandable. However, there have been moments where it feels like non-Latino patrons are not as welcomed or accommodated. On a recent visit, I wore traditional cultural attire and jewelry in hopes of clarifying my background, yet the staff continued to address me as if I were Latino. One female employee even appeared visibly frustrated when I referred to a particular dish as "soup" rather than its traditional Spanish name.I kindly ask the staff to recognize that not everyone with fair skin and dark hair is Latino. There are many South Asian, West Asian, and Arab individuals who may visit while traveling, and it would go a long way to create a more inclusive and understanding environment for all customers.Thank you for considering this feedback.
April 19 · Shay rescuWe absolutely enjoyed their food. Had chicken, beef, rice and green beans with egg. Flan for a nice finish. Cheap n good quality. Communication was bit tricky but fun
February 02 · MG Groafter today, i might not go back. worst Colombian food I've had in a while, and the person behind the counter had horrible customer service. Person attending me was being cheap, poor customer service skills. I got 1 small dinner plate with rice, beans and stewed beef, 1 Chicharrón, 2 small chicken empanadas, and 2 hit juices. it was nearly 40 dollars. Felt too expensive. only reason i paid and left instead of walking out not buying anything was the hurry we had.comment from one of the group: "if i wanted to show someone what Colombian food is like, I'd be embarrassed to bring them here."
March 19 · CRS NYCThe breads are good. However, the pastry isn’t… maybe to each their own. The workers aren’t as attentive nor knowledgeable for example: making a cappuccino.
March 28 · Helen GEverything is always fresh.Fresh baked 🍞 in the morning. Coffee, Chocolate, pastries are awesome!
