Littleneck Outpost truly shines as a multi-faceted food destination. While its reputation as a brunch and sandwich spot is well-deserved, the reason it resonates with so many is its genuine character. The cafe’s charm is immediately apparent, from the moment you step inside. The small, intimate setting with a few tables both indoors and out creates a personal and unpretentious dining environment that stands in contrast to larger, more impersonal establishments.
The menu’s star attractions are undoubtedly the rolls. The Maine Lobster Roll, in particular, is a fan favorite and a must-try. However, the breakfast sandwiches are also a major highlight and a reason for repeat visits. Items like the Sausage, Egg, + Cheese and the Benton's Ham, Egg, + Cheese are described as delicious and generously sized, making them a satisfying way to start the day. The variety of options, from the savory Smoked Trout Toast to the fresh and light Avocado Toast, ensures there is a choice for every palate and time of day. While some have had mixed experiences with specific dishes, the general consensus is overwhelmingly positive, with many customers expressing a strong desire to return.
The coffee, sourced from La Colombe, is also a significant draw. It's a reliable choice that coffee lovers can appreciate, and the variety of espresso drinks ensures that everyone's preferences are met. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Quite disappointing experience. Food arrived in a to-go containers so the cool photos of chic dinning didn’t match what we had experienced . I got the kimchi bowl which was not good and my partner had the sausage eggs and cheese sandwich which was quite big but bad- it was sweet . In addition to all my oat milk pistachio latte was way too hot.
August 28 · Ido SimyoniWhat a cute little gem in Brooklyn, New York. Located on the corner with a few tables inside and outside this place has a great vibe. Variety of healthy and tasty food is great. We had breakfast sandwiches for the second time this week and they have been absolutely delicious. Good coffe as well. Service is good and kind. Prices are very reasonable. Will be back here for sure.
April 22 · Djordjiana BuricGreat lunch spot, genuinely creative and tasty salads and sandwiches that are a step above the norm. The google description is weird though, I would not call this a 'New England style seafood spot' at all. It has a variety of options including salads, sandwiches, chicken, pork, vegetarian, etc.
March 29 · Kate TaylorCute place with nice variety of food, but don't get the broccoli rabe sandwich. Truly one of the weirdest and worst sandwiches I've ever eaten. It's literally just a row of broccoli rabe logs on focaccia. It's not cooked soft enough that biting it will break it up, so when you take a bite you'll pull out entire whole pieces of broccoli rabe. And it was bland.I'll probably come back to try the other items, but this was such a bad sandwich. Really not sure why it's on the menu.edit: love the passive aggressive response from the owner! sorry that this sandwich sucks. ✌️😎
February 16 · j cSounds of the 80’s and shades of green on a Saturday - my new simple pleasures prompt.Definitely worth a visit, and I will definitely be back for another mushroom sandwich and matcha latte very soon.
