Los Primos Chimichurris Introduce
In the dynamic and diverse culinary landscape of Queens, sometimes the best flavors are found not in brick-and-mortar establishments, but at a specialized, highly dedicated mobile operation. Los Primos Chimichurris represents this kind of authentic, on-the-go dining experience, staking its claim as a local favorite for those seeking hearty, satisfying comfort food, particularly during the late hours. Operating out of the Flushing area, this spot caters directly to the New Yorker’s need for a quick, substantial meal, perfect for dinner, or a necessary fuel-up after a long day or night out.
Los Primos Chimichurris focuses on a simple, casual, and highly accessible approach to food service. The core offering centers around the kind of dishes that truly qualify as 'comfort food'—designed to be flavorful, filling, and readily available. They are well-regarded for serving the local community, whether patrons are looking for a quick solo meal or a late-night fix with friends. The operation is structured to maximize convenience, providing crucial services like drive-through and curbside pickup, which are highly valued by time-sensitive New Yorkers who appreciate efficiency and speed.
The atmosphere is, by nature of its service model, extremely casual. This is not a sit-down, linen-napkin experience, but a classic New York experience of grabbing high-impact flavor on the move. It is particularly popular for dinner and is a highly sought-after destination for late-night food—a service that is indispensable in the city that never sleeps. The establishment’s focus on quick bites and small plates makes it versatile, allowing customers to easily customize their order for a substantial meal or a simple snack. The fact that the venue is noted as "good for kids" also means it serves as a convenient stop for families on the go in the area.
While the food truck model inherently means a rotating schedule and location (though generally anchored in Flushing), its mobile presence allows it to serve a consistent base of customers who know where and when to find their favorite comfort food. Customers are encouraged to utilize the call-ahead feature to place orders even before the truck is physically at its location, a testament to the business's effort to streamline the ordering process and improve customer wait times. This level of dedication to service efficiency is a key component of its appeal to the pragmatic Queens demographic.
The identity of Los Primos Chimichurris is deeply tied to its promised specialty—chimichurri—and its simple yet satisfying comfort-driven menu items. Although customer experiences can sometimes vary in terms of pricing perception or specific order fulfillment, the core appeal remains the accessibility and the promise of big, savory flavors. It provides a distinct flavor profile in the local area that satisfies a specific late-night or casual dining niche, drawing crowds who appreciate the no-fuss, direct-to-customer service model. The focus remains on providing quick, flavorful dishes that serve as excellent options for lunch, dinner, and those crucial late-night cravings.

May 22 · Lucas AArrived around 9:15pm and the truck wasn’t around until shortly after 9:30pm. You can call them ahead of time even before they’re there to place your order. They also had no menu displayed so I showed them a picture of what I wanted that I had already seen they made. They charged me $25 for my order. I thought it was pricey. I definitely think this food truck is overpriced and overhyped. I’d gladly pay $25 for this plate had I been sitting down at a restaurant. I asked for tostones and they gave me maduros. They also had no avocado available and still charged me a ridiculous amount. The food was good but not $25 worth. I probably will not go back.
