The restaurant is particularly famous for its legendary paella, including the iconic `Paella A La Valenciana` and the lavish `Paella A La Marinera With Lobster`. - Excellent Beverage Program: The restaurant is lauded for its "great cocktails," "great wine list," and "great coffee." The bar onsite is well-stocked with a full selection of beer, wine, and hard liquor. While one customer review mentioned disappointment with the sangria, another celebrated it as "the best." This suggests a varied experience, but the overall offering of beverages is a key highlight.
- Historic and Romantic Atmosphere: The ambiance is a major draw, described as casual, cozy, historic, and romantic. The decor and setting have been preserved, creating a nostalgic feel that transports diners to Old New York. This atmosphere is perfect for a special evening out or a relaxed dinner with friends.
- Diverse and Welcoming Crowd: The clientele is a mix of "family-friendly" groups, couples seeking a romantic evening, and even `solo diners`. The restaurant also proudly identifies as "LGBTQ+ friendly" and a "Transgender safespace," creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
- Fast Service: Despite the bustling nature of the restaurant, it is known for its "fast service," which ensures that your dining experience is efficient without feeling rushed. This is a valuable feature for those on a tight schedule or simply eager to enjoy their meal.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Easter dinner with my husband, the staff welcomed us with a friendly smile. We asked if the sangria was made by the house bartender not the box one . Very disappointed with the quality that we got. Our first tapas was the grill octopus that was so salty very hard to finish. Must say the texture was perfect. Scallops was our second choice with garlic taste was good presentation not to appealing. Empanadillas over fried/ cod . Desert choice flan pleasant not sugary . Not the best spaniel restaurant. Expresso is good 👍
April 20 · Ivette MelendezSevilla is a gem. Authentic Spanish cuisine with a cozy establishment! The food is to die for, the paella and the best sangrias, a little taste of Spain in NY is this where you want to be! And the waiter Jesus is funny and polite. I will always be back here . Highly recommended.
August 07 · Ursula BardalezNice spot with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was decent — polite and efficient, though not outstanding. Prices are fair. We had the Mariscada with Egg Sauce (mixed seafood in a cream sauce) — it was delicious! We also tried the octopus, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The only things I’d suggest are removing the TV, as it doesn’t really match the restaurant’s vibe, and turning the music up just a bit to create a cozier ambiance. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.
March 23 · Sofiia BlidchenkoPlace is packed on a Friday night. Quite boisterous. Clean and new bathrooms. Small bar to wait or just have a beverage.Food is ok. A lot of it needs salt. The croquettes and chorizo is good. The paella is not what one expects and needs salt. The chicken was old but the seafood and sausage was good. Chocolate cake was SO good. The vanilla and cream thing was a poor man’s crème brulee without the hard coat. Meh.The waiters do a good job of singing happy birthday. The service we received was fine, no complaints.Service
March 07 · Jen GaroneFirst time here after my friend was hyping it up. He and his family have been coming here for over 25 years so I was pretty excited. We were promptly sat down but one of the water glasses had old caked on lipstick. Informed the waiter who apologized and brought a new glass. Makes you think about how clean the glasses are as well as quality control. My chicken villaroy was overcooked and the rice it came with was dry and bland. My friends enjoyed their meal at least but they agreed that my meal was bad. Informed the manager who claims he is not a manager about the issues before we paid and he took off my meal from the check at least. The atmosphere is chaotic. Its a small packed place and with so many conversations happening at once there were times were I could not hear my friends across the table. Getting to the restroom you have to squeeze between tables.I did enjoy the bread, salad and the appetizers we got.
