Ummm, Mikey, you did that!I’ve seen Mikey Likes It for some time now. I’ve seen people mention it on social media, as well as news outlets. Add the fact that it’s black-owned, and that was more than enough for me to ease on down to meet Mikey and to also....see what he likes lol (Sorry, I had to).So Mikey Likes It is a small, cute, humble shop, that offers fun, unique flavors of ice cream. First off, I LOVE the decor of all the different celebrities/tv characters/musicians! It’s so fun and nostalgic. It suits the vibes and feels of the shop. Very well done. So, I went in to see which flavors I wanted to try, and unfortunately, they were out of a few of the flavors that really caught my eye. Even still, there were some fun, intriguing flavors to choose from. I ended up choosing two. The first flavor being the Truffle Shuffle, that’s made up of milk chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, and yes girl, chocolate covered marshmallows. This was a tasty flavor. I taste the quality of the ice cream right away. It tasted fresh, and not overly rich. The next flavor I tried was the Pink Floyd, which was my favorite of the two. The Pink Floyd consists of strawberry ice cream, with cheesecake chunks! I’m usually not even big into fruit-flavored ice creams, but there was something different about this one. I mean, aside from the chunks of cheesecake, which I loved, the strawberry ice cream itself, was just effin delicious! What can I say?!I was excited to finally get to Mikey’s. Apparently, I need to get back for Mikey’s after hours, to try their spirit-infused ice creams! It’s a date, Mikey!

Great innovative ice cream with lot of fillings and cool names.The texture and flavors were great and sweetness was just right, all at decent prices.My favorite was the Incredible Hulk, which was vegan with spinach,kale, spirulina, avocado etc. and while it does sound like a green smoothie, it tastes absolutely amazing. Strongly recommend it. The chocolate marshmallow truffle and strawberry cheesecake (Pink Floyd) were quite nice.They also allow you to sample.It is also a minority owned business with a very nice back story of hope and new beginnings.

$4.50 for a single scoop in a cup$8 for a shakeA cool small space but cranks out delicious ice cream flavors/combos including a signature classic vanilla, shakes, ice cream sandwiches and waffles. The service is friendly and the music is on point.Ordered a single scoop vanilla which was deliciously classic. Creamy and had a slight whipped malt flavor - very nice.My friend got a chocolate shake which is also good and creamy but not heavy just rich.Definitely coming back for other flavors.

What more to say than if you in the East Village, LES than what are you doing beside getting yourself an icecream from Mikey. I finally took my mom on national icecream day and she was mad i hadn't taken her before.The Mac Daddy is 🤯🤤, it actually isn't even right how delicious it is which is why I try and leave it for very special occasions.My mom got Southern Hospitality and enjoyed every last spoon.So show support to this Black owned business, he has another shop in Harlem and I think has one in Gotham West market, don't quote me on that.

This little ice-cream parlor is everything you want out of a local neighborhood ice-cream place. Very friendly service, great taste, and the smell of a passionate owner focussed on the essentials, with heart for the neighborhood. Great flavour of the month options and very funny pun style naming.
